- Devon checks out the Jackson American Series Soloist SL2MG
Equipped with all the essential attributes, the American Series Soloist™ SL2MG leads the way in establishing a new standard in the premium high-performance category as it inspires players across the globe.
The American SL2's alder body is matched with a sustain-enhancing through-body three-piece maple neck that has a pair of graphite-reinforcement rods for the ultimate stability to resist temperature- and humidity-induced bending and warping. Hosting 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and inverse mother of pearl sharkfin inlays, the 12"-16" compound radius rolled ebony fingerboard is designed for highly technical lightspeed playing - more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out up the neck for increasingly fast playing and bends without fretting out. Luminlay® glow-in the-dark side dots provide exceptional fingerboard guidance even on the darkest stages, while a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick neck relief tweaks on the fly.
Powered by a pair of brawny EMG® 81 and EMG 85 humbucking pickups, this brutally powerful instrument delivers commanding punch while retaining clarity with enhanced note definition, a critical component for modern metal. Harness the sonic horsepower with a versatile three-way blade pickup switch and single volume and tone controls. Other premium features include a Floyd Rose® 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system for reliable tuning stability throughout daring and aggressive playing theatrics, Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners and Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons.
Designed with our trademark metal style, the American Series Soloist SL2MG comes in Satin Black, Satin Lambo Orange and Matte Army Drab finishes with color matched Jackson pointy headstocks and black hardware.

Jackson should do more hardtail guitars in those bold sports car colors.
that paint job on the orange metallic is sick!
if the orange came with a hardtail i'd seriously consider it too
I know! Why?!
I prayerfully pray for the reverse headstock version!!! 🍊😢🍊
If they save the reverse headstock for the orange hardtail and make that a seven I'll die! 🫠🫠🫠
Love that guitar
Love that orange one.
Haven’t been this excited for a guitar for a long time. Been running a dinky with emg’s for a decade..
Devin, I got a new found “Infatuation” for Jackson Guitars
I wish I would have started with them years ago 😮
Love Jackson guitras, love Emgs
What was that opening riff!? That was so cool! Please tell me.
Metallic orange with a reverse headstock pls !
The stock photos really don't do the orange finish justice, pretty sick
I don't understand locking tuners on a guitar with a locked nut.
Added expense for no reason.
Faster and easier for string changes
