Merci !! I didn't have a spare individual track to use (or at least not a convenient one) but I had a spare cv/gate track on my pyramid sequencer, so now I can sequence 4 parameters at once. this is really awesome. Thank you so much !
This is excellent! You've showed me how to really open up both my AR and A4 with this! I actually like the uncertainty it provides over a random lfo and all of the modulation points in this method. Having both, i can modulate one machine with the other as well. Endless fun with this! Thank you sir!
Awesome, yeah it really opens things up for sure. Always surprising results. I’d love an A4, seems like an amazing box for sure. No probs, happy to share.
Ah thanks, appreciate the message. It’s a crazy box isn’t it!! It’s taken me ages to bond with it but really enjoying it more recently. You got your stuff anywhere online?
unreal channel. great video, love how you approach the machine. Learnt a lot over the last few weeks from your vids of you taking the Rytm to the next level! eternal gratitude
Nice one, appreciate the kind words and happy to hear you’re learning stuff, same for me 🖤 Glad you’re into the talking too, slowly finding my way through it all. Cheers
@@ExpectResistance both are great, it’s nice to hear you talk through something especially after spending time working out how you modulated internally (the lack of which has actually been a benefit as I’ve accidentally learnt a few tricks along the way, the short videos have been great inspiration).
@@AustenMixes awesome. Agree, limits are great, it pushes us to find something a little out of the way and it’s normally exciting results when you find it.
@@ExpectResistance I’ve made a track for an upcoming liveset using the snares in one of your free projects, and got a question about where the “splash” sound is saved on the SRC. Do you have a way we can chat quickly about it? Would be super helpful as I’m quite stuck!
@@AustenMixes I actually just noticed that splash sound few days ago, must be an old preset or something left in the Rytm, not entirely sure. I’ve since deleted it as don’t use it. Not sure it that helps? Happy to chat anytime tho 👍
@@ExpectResistance Thanks! It took me a while to find the expression learn page but once i found it i got it all working. Your videos have inspired me to put all the other gear on my desk away and really concentrate on the Rytm for a while.
@@ExpectResistance yeah, it's really amazing, especially using the velocity mod page too. I hadn't really tried using it apart from turning it off but now i'm realizing i can do loads of things that are really useful. Cheers!
hi man love your videos...i consider myself an experienced RYTM user but never thought of patching into the CV input except with an expression slider...so THANKS !!! Do you need to remove the BD or source track from main mix in settings first or can this be done simply stock settings with correct lead?
No worries, hope it’s helpful and glad you are enjoying them. Yeah removing from the main mix if you don’t wanna hear it for sure. And yep, all modulation menus can go together so you can have some fun modulation going on. 👍
@@ExpectResistance superb ! Thanks dude keep the videos coming realy like the simple and clear delivery combined with discussion and artist references.😊🙏
best analog mk2 channel on youtube !
Thanks, very nice of you
This opened up a hole new world for me.
Thank you so much.
No worries, it’s pretty fun.
Merci !!

Ah nice, glad to hear it. I love it when a studio wiring change happens and it opens up the possibilities, that's great!

Taking this machine back to school

I don't have a Rytm but an Analog Four and that technique is giving me the kind of sounds that I want out of it. Thank you!
The Analog Four looks great, i don’t have one but looks like you can do the same thing. Glad it’s of use 👍
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing.
No worries, happy to share 🖤
Nice man.. Great info on your channel cheers.. Subscribed. Had the RYTM for years.. never fails to keep on giving.

I never saw that screen on AR? WTF
It’s definitely a bit buried but super powerful

Really if you want more LFOs... look into a zoia.
Lots of options out there for sure. Cheers 🖤
