Hi just got a KoS for Xmas and been and loaded up in paints to follow your amazing tutorial, quick question when mixing the colours such as a 4:1 mix do you just take 4 brush loads vs 1 onto a wet pallet and mix? I find this dries out with the contrast paints quiet quickly or do you mix using something else? Any tips would be great! Thanks for all the amazing tutorials
Hi Chris, I don’t use a Wet Palette no because water does some weird stuff to Contrast. But yes the mix is as you 4 brushloads to 1 brushloads. If the worry is that it dries out, you can double or even triple the mix to ensure you have enough or change the size of brush you’re using to create the mix so that you have more!
@@Warhipsterwhere are you mixing the 4 brush loads of one color and 1 brush load of the other color? Are you mixing them together on a dry plastic surface off to the side? Sorry, I would just love to see what you’re doing off camera…
This is INCREDIBLE. Your painting tutorials are so easy to follow, I’m so stoked that you’ve done a keeper of secrets, it’s inspired me to finally get around to working on my slaanesh pile of shame
Great job! I wish we got to see you paint some of those hard to reach areas, since you're painting a fully assembled model. I have no idea how you managed to paint those inner cloak areas and the backsides of her legs, etc, without getting paint on everything else :D
Thank you so much, Helen and I'm glad you enjoyed it! If you do follow this to paint your Keeper of Secrets I'd love it if you could tag me if you post it to Instagram at all so I can see it.
Another amazing guide! Did my best to follow it although the spot highlights on things like gems are beyond my skills. I left off all the jewels and cloak whilst painting. How you got such amazing results fully assembled is just phenomenal
I recently found tour channel, looking for tips on how to paint my KoS. Easy to follow and you make everything seem simple. I used Lahmian Medium, instead of Contrast Medium, though, when I started with the cape, and it didn't work at all. The color blobbed in places and it didn't cover well at others. No idea why. I'll make sure to follow the rest of the guide to the point.
This is Great now i‘m starting a slaanesh army 😂. If you read this probably you cab Tell ne what you sag around 3:30 is sounds like „schmutz“ which means something like dirt in german. I‘m always confused and heard it several times in your videos 😊 Great Job your tutorials are so helpful and altough bad for my wallet. 😂
Great suggestion! I'd love to do a Shalaxi video and it's on the list it's just a little bit of the way down at the moment! I do need to pick up another Keeper and the Dexcessa and Synessa models too... Too much to do!
Wow, the model looks just incredible and the fine details on it are spot on! :-D I wonder if I can us this as template for a Shelaxi Helbane model, even if they have some diffrences in their appearance.
Absolutely! Although ol' Shalaxi has a lot more darker features. I need to get a second Keeper to do it... Time and Money obviously being a factor! I'm sure I'll get to it eventually!
Question, why do you paint all the blues and such on fhe cape, if you just going to paint it black in the end...... Woundnt it just be easier to just paint it black right off the bat?

Josh is the reason I got in to Warhammer.
And we are very reluctant to buy models if there is not a Warhipster video for them.

Spectacular 😁 so chill and easy to watch. Would love to see a great unclean one 👀
Thanks Hellglazer, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You always give me new ideas for what you can do with contrasts. Awesome work!
That's ace to hear King Xerocole, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Nice video, i really like the silver parts on the sword + sword, will be using that 'recipe', thanks

Amazing job mate ! Love ur videos ! Is there any chance for U to paint a Blissbarb archer ? Im founding them quite intimidating to paint
Thanks Hunter! I've not got any Blissbarb Archers on my bench, but I shall certainly add them to the list.
I almost bought that very same model today. Hopefully it will still be there in a few weeks.

Do you find the large model holder to be useful? Seems more awkward compared to the smaller ones
It's pretty handy, especially for something a bit more fragile like a Keeper of Secrets.
Have you done a sloppity bilepiper yet?
I have not, though I think I've got one on my To Do pile somewhere.
You are great
You're too kind!
you get such a good even undercoat. Was that rattle cam grey seer or did you airbrush it on? Do you ever try zenithal grey seer over black?
Awesome work bro!!! Have to ask what do you prefer to play AoS or 40K? I’m all for AoS.
