@cece X yeah recently they’ve been doing a lot better i can hand feed them without them moving when my hand moves, they’re being a lot calmer during lap time, and i think i’ve found their favorite spots to get pet i have been sitting near their cage more recently though. i like reading them books and stuff and they seem to like it as well because they always start popcorning when i do it it’s insane how much calmer they are just within six days

Always with the shoulders! Had one pig who was almost fanatic about it. She’d want to be on the right shoulder, pressing up against your neck, and if you put her on the left one she’d force her way to the other side. It was so weird and so adorable.
The white one with long fur looks like it would speak in an English accent: "Excuse me, sir, but it is of the uttermost importance that you stroke my fur! Now stop wasting time, lad, com'on, chop-chop!"
Guinea pigs are such great pets to have, they're relatively easy to manage and are cute and friendly, the only problem that comes with them is the mess

You had a bad experience in a bad house which was covered in feces because apparently those responsible for the pets did nothing to actually take care of them and clean their cages. Even humans would be covered in feces if they or their carers didnt take care of their cleaning. Blame those responsible for your trauma and not an innocent animal.
Guineas rock! I have four at at time in a large pen, adoptions, and when one passes away after a few years I get a new adoption. They are great little friends.

He loves us to pet him and rub him. However, if he suspects for a moment that you want to pick him up, he will get very....alert and defensive (and usually run for his life).

The second one looks almost exactly like my guinea pig I had as a kid. She was the sweetest little girl, I miss her so much. Wish I had owned her as an older person, though, because my parents did NOT make any research on proper piggy care, and I was just a small kid. She still lived happily for 7 years.
I miss my guinea pigs (they died of old age). They used to love to tuck their faces against my neck 😭. One of my guinea pigs (I called him Midnight) loved to rest there and one time I kept pulling him down from my neck bc I was in the middle of doing something (he kept trying to climb back up every time). He got mad and crawled up again and pinched my neck with his teeth lol-- it hurt! I spoiled them way to much but especially him.
All animals are sweethearts!!! No hate in their hearts, just love and of course survival - so depending on your pet choice you may get eaten. Not their fault! hahahahahaha

I have Guinea pigs and if handled daily they get to point they want to be with you they are. I always say pigs and dogs make wonderful loving pets
