It was a good information shared. However those who want to be DEV-Engineer please start from the scratch. Fortunately I have placed in Google as Cloudtop Engineer from non-tech background. Devops subject is very interesting. Just focus on the the methodology and not the tools. Once you understand the methodology go with the tools. Find the below hierarchy.
    1. What is Devops
    2. Devops Life Cycle
    3. How does Dev team and Operation Team colaborate to get the work done in effective way.
    4. Start cloud journey. (AWS/Azure/GCP) and focus on the on demand services.
    5. Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL/Centos)
    6. Git and Git-Hub
    7. Jenkin
    8. Dockers
    9. Kubernetes
    10. Understanding of CICD tool
    11. Ansible (Optional)
    12. Teraform (Optional)
This will really take 90 days if you practice 3 hours per day. (One hour theory/2 hours practical). Trust me if you learn above content in a sequence you are Devops-Engineer with in Four months. I hope this information helps. Ping me if you need more information.

But strange thing is , people come into DevOps without basic knowledge of Git, Linux, any script like PowerShell, python or bash Ansible, Jenkins ,Docker , Kubernetes, JFrog, SonarQube and Any Cloud platform like AWS,GCP or Azure and from infa side either Kubernetes or Terraform.

People are telling ,there is no coding in devops, but to be honest ,never come if you think it's easier than coding.
Devops is not just like building ci cd. You have to advance in lot of skills and you need to learn a lot of tools.Everyday you get a new tool ,service.
But if you are very good with Linux and scripting , you are welcome ,but for freshers to land on Devops is like putting yourself into a very stressful path.I am a devops ,it's my honest review.
My advice is to start your career as a system admin or support role. Then you get really good knowledge.

Understanding DevOps is actually like becoming a one man army in IT, when it comes to the entire IT infrastructure for an organization not just the development of apps.
The main reason why freshers are not preferred for this domain is that they are not trained on this from their Academics.
They still learn about traditional software development life cycle.
The good thing about this role is that it's very interesting and challenging because you are accountable for automated dev deployments and operations both.

Sir @technicalSuneja I'm a Manual test Engineer having 4.5 years of experience. While market is changing for a log run I want to shift my domain to Data Visualization. But honestly I'm not sure about anything and a bit scared as m not very good at coding so I'm not going for developer . On that note I have good skill on SQL . Kindly show me the right path , what should I do for a long run to survive in this IT industry, Kindly make a video with details

If you are good in SQL, you can go for Data Analyst role or Data Engineering role. If you are good with Probability or Statistics then you can go for Machine learning or even AI.

Good podcast, but whatever people say here seems fake or scripted. Because here she says basic understanding of programming language. I don't understand how people say that and what is basic understanding of programming language. We need to learn a code or language in advance level to understand it. There is nothing like basic understanding in a language. And for Dev Ops a good understanding of programming language is needed.

I have a question, i am in banking operations for the past 5years now and now i want to change my domain and thinking of switching to cloud or DevOps, however, is i lt true that i would be offered a freshers salary and if yes, what would the avg salary be. Would be great if you could reply to my question.

its not rocket science to do devOps, one can do that in 3 years.i find it relatively easy to work in a deployment environment, pretty comfortable with bash scripting and git, and much more. i don't know much about it but its not rocket science. all it takes is dedication.
