Aman I too have the same story. I completed my graduation in 2018. Even In my house the environment was also of government jobs so I started my preparation. But after spending 4-5 years I didn't qualify any mains exam so finally choose a part time job as a tution teacher. But I realised that Tuition is not a permanent solution. Everyday parents are like "tmare sath ke bacche kha phucha gye kitno ne shadi kr Li tum whi reh gye " this Hits me badly. Nowadays I am trying to develop some skills related to data analysis field And I know someday I can also makes my parents proud.❤

I am a Non - Tech Guy too preparing for Govt exams still and I have been from 2 years graduated in Dec 2020. My father is also in Police. So I can very much relate me with him. I am currently too hopeless and confused which side I move on. That's the time i got this video suggested as I have almost zero knowledge in coding. And Exactly like he said, Plan B is very important. I understand his words now. I'm looking forward to learn Microsoft Power BI and work as a Data analyst. Hope I get the proper mentorship step by step from which I can enter in this journey. 🥺
Don't wry bro.. I also graduated in nov 2020.. Didn't got placed due to covid... Went for govt exams... In 2021, a very good chance was there to get a seat but destiny had something else.. By 2021 end, family pressure to join job.. So started searching one and exam preparation completely halted. Luckily got in IT field.. But there hasn't been any learning yet here.. Just pasing time.. Also preparing for govt exam simultaneously.. Again missed by 4 marks and by 2 marks in 2 govt exams.. Felt too bad.. Waiting for result of 1 more exam... Might get some thing there but not that gr8.. But still will prepare for further exams till I reach my dream job... Also, many candidates are at worse conditions than us.. But just one moment will change their lives 180°... Next yr is election yr.. Many vacancies going to come.. Try best now... Give all ur boost this time.. Hope u succeed.. Don't lose hope.. I highly agree with Amman that government jobs are a waste of time and energy. One should see the amount of competition, and other political factors associated with the govt jobs. Instead, one can utilize that time to study and grow in public sector and can save a lot of time and money in the process.
This is my scenario... I graduated in 2020...and can't decide on my career. I love doing 3D art(Blender Maya Zbrush) but in india everyone wants a Golden candidate with 5years of experience. So i douldn't get a job. Eventually my family says , "job nahi hai" "paisa nahi kama rahe ho" "koi ladki nahi milegi" Honestly it is depressing!

I am also an another guy looking forward to move into the field of data science. I have completed my btech long back in 2013 in electrical & worked for Cognizant for 3 years as a SQL Dev. After that i left CTS & went to prepare for UPSC. That didn't work out well & i wasted 6 years down the line. I came back with my IT preparation once again in 2022 & cracked a role of Data Engineer in March, 2023 but didn't join because i got into the AlmaBetter's star student program & signed ISA. Now i'm loosing myself but i know I'll get back on my feet once again & crack another big role. This time I'll be joining it. I hope you'll put forward all your blessings towards my success. Thank you for this podcast brother. This is just what i needed. I did Btech in mechanical and graduated in 2020. Did a job for 2 years in Intellectual property field (non core). And obviously forgot everything about mechanical. I quit the job last year and am preparing for a government exam which i am not sure if i will clear this year or not. But i know that i wasted my one year. And now i feel like i should have started learning Python in 2022. But seeing this guy i have got some confidence. I will start with Python. I hope i will be able to do something in this field.

Trust me people getting a call is one thing and cracking an interview is another. Whatever he said is absolutely correct. I failed in an interview just because i put too much information about machine learning and python projects. And although the interview was for backend typescript(nest) the interviewer specifically asked me about the things i wrote in resume. and those were very tough questions. And ofcourse i got rejected because of that. Even the coding question he asked was from array. So don't try to over complicate your resume. Write what you know.
My story is exactly the same as Aman . I have completed graduation in 2015 and since then I have been preparing for a government exam but unfortunately I couldn't make it possible. Last year I enrolled for a data analyst course and I just gave an exam and waiting for the result and also looking for a job.
Everything same is going on to me 2016 graduation Up bareilly se 6 sal govt exam ko diye 0.25 no. se tk rh ja chuka Aur nhi hua Majboori me 6000/month me teaching kr ra hu aur disturbed hu . ..now don't know how to start ! Watching your video
Its right time to switch to IT field. Within next 1-2 years you will be earning 10x to 15x than current salary, if you put sincere effort. Just don't think too much, just explore it. Its all about 6-8 months of your effort. All b dest ✌️
by watching this podcast i am feeling stable that i am on right track , i am also from non-tech background and learning Data Science course and till now i have learned Python, SQL and some libraries and my next modules are Advanced Excel and PowerBi and Tablue.

preparing for govt job is different and preparing for govt jobs is different...if ur goal is x ur complete focus will be on x only or else ur focus keeps on changing like once focus on x nxt y nxt z......but one thing i can assure u that private sector doesnt give u a job security...in the present time job security is more imp than package which private sector never provide...if u agree or not this is the fact...he prepared for multiple xms so he didnt survive..may be if his focus is on x only then the chances of getting through is maximum

I believe government job is overhyped.. I worked in TCS for 7 years and left for government job. Now feeling stucked here..Will leave after 1.5 years as soon as my bond ends...Great Video

Trust me people getting a call is one thing and cracking an interview is another. Whatever he said is absolutely correct. I failed in an interview just because i put too much information about machine learning and python projects. And although the interview was for backend typescript(nest) the interviewer specifically asked me about the things i wrote in resume. and those were very tough questions. And ofcourse i got rejected because of that. Even the coding question he asked was from array. So don't try to over complicate your resume. Write what you know.

preparing for govt job is different and preparing for govt jobs is different...if ur goal is x ur complete focus will be on x only or else ur focus keeps on changing like once focus on x nxt y nxt z......but one thing i can assure u that private sector doesnt give u a job security...in the present time job security is more imp than package which private sector never provide...if u agree or not this is the fact...he prepared for multiple xms so he didnt survive..may be if his focus is on x only then the chances of getting through is maximum
