As someone who is just a casual fan, I will N E V E R understand how the Teza I is an E and not higher. Some of the other beam skills in E (like the Sugihara, Worley, front pike salto) can't POSSIBLY as dangerous as the Teza I, right? I mean, maybe they are, I'm a pro wrestling fan and I know sometimes a move that looks safer is way more dangerous than some of the more complicated ones. But just as a casual watcher, I cannot fathom how the Teza I isn't like, G-I
So this I believe is where there’s pretty much a rule of thumb that each additional half twist gets you one letter higher degree of difficulty. The Yurchenko loop (this same skill without the full twist) is only rated as a C. So, if you add a half twist, it’s a D; and a full twist puts you at E. This is definitely one of those instances where I think the status quo of one additional letter per additional half twist shouldn’t apply. Adding a full twist to this skill is much different and much harder than adding a full twist to just a regular back layout.
The Li Spin still might be my favorite skill in women’s gymnastics.
All of these are so beautiful!
The Worley takes away the elegance of the Onodi, imo. The one foot landing is what makes The Onodi so elegant.

@@nathanlubeck6585 Ah thanks, I'd noticed that before. But you're right, that rule just shouldn't apply to across the beam skills lol
@@nathanlubeck6585 Yurchenko loop is D.
@ I might be looking at the wrong code, but I could’ve sworn it was C. The Korbut flip is only a B.
I keep hoping the originality bonus will return to the code. 🤞
I really like the Preziosa and the Worley
Laney Madsen made The Preziosa in 2019
I like the Li Spin.
I like the Teza
I don't! Not very elegant

That Tousek + straddle jump into yurchenko loop, would that be acro series or mixed series? And that’s D + C, is it .2 bonus?
Mixed, 0.2 CV 0.1 SB
@@cocoroni1031but that’s only 2 skills, there’s no SB right? And for mixed bonus it has to be D + D for .2, a D + C is only .1 (rebounding or not).
@@guardianofthegalaxy2051Tousek+side straddle jump+loop. That’s what you said in the first sentence.
Preziosa, Teza,Tousek
