OH. MY. GOD! I've sat for most of the morning playing about with IF statements and all that other rubbish to analyse an aged creditors report and finally found this. Thank you very much!
How do i create the groupings for a range of %s that include negatives? For example a range of -5% to -10%. Excel is giving me a False when I try to do this.
Hi, thanks for this video. I have a problem. I play golf and the handicap is very different between players. How can I group all players into groups so each group has the same avarege handicap? There are four players in a group maximum, but if thera are 19 players I have to group them 4+4+4+4+3 Regards from Iceland.
There's probably easier or better ways to do it but I came felt this way was easier for me to understand. Not saying it's the best way though...cleverer people than I out there.
Apologies, I don't know. I'm not that clever...this was just a little tip I used myself for a little project and did a video so I didn't forget how to do it in the future LOL
I'm so sorry that I didn't see your comment until now (1 year later!) and it's probably too late but the formula I used was as follows: =vlookup(A3,groupings,2,1)

What's a good way to name those buckets? ie. 1-7 = "1 week" , 7-14 = "2 weeks", etc
Thanks!
Welcome!

No worries!
Could you please write what you have in the formula box please? I have bad internet right now and can't exactly see what you wrote after vLOOKUP

Thanks Gareth
You're very welcome Ajit.
Thank you..!
You could have made the vid much shorter by defining the data and then categories beforehand
Noted
Please do exactly this same video again but now zoom in to make it clear
Good video, but try improving, your screen is far and bit blurry and we miss some of the stuff
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still a work in progress :-)
Thanks, was getting very sick of countif statements
Hope it helped.
We don't need to see random data created. Looking to see how to group the data. Apparently one cant do it in Excel.
Nonsense
