I wouldn't want a part two of this film too. I really don't like sequels, for me they ruin the whole essence of it, most of the time if not all the time.

Nolan is a superb director and filmmaker and I'd like to think that if he wanted us to have a firm answer it would have to be more than whether or not the top falls. His movies are always in depth. I've seen it 7 times and I have to say I was quite surprised myself with the ring thing. I didn't find that out until i saw it like 5 times already...
all i have to say is this: for those of us that actually have seen the movie, we know how ridiculous it is to say "hope there is a sequel"...I personally don't. There can't be. She should have left that comment in her mind and not out ur mouth...just saying. I've seen this 6 times in the theater and I just can't get enough of it.

There is no need for one. It's a stand alone movie, not designed for a sequel. HINT: go see the movie again, when Cobb is in the real world he's not wearing his wedding ring. EVERY time he's in a dream he's wearing his wedding ring....I'm not going to say whether he's wearing it or not at the end...BUT

As I see it Cobb is lost in the limbo and could still be saved. The other characters could have any number of motivations and new goals that could be explored in another movie. Nolan would of course have to think of something new and unpredictable to make it worth it, but I'd like to see that happen.
