I saw a comment from a "Glitter-Hater" on one of your recent videos. Rest assured, many of us actually support and enjoy glitter on projects!! Up with glitter! You go, glitter! And as for you, Our Dear Ms. Sherry: remember my daughter's wise words: " If you don't have at least ten people hating on you at all times, you need to up your game!"😊😅😂 Glitter rules! Yay, glitter! Glitter uber alles!!
Thank you! You are so funny! Thanks for your support! Is it really Christmas without a little glitter? I taught high school English for many years, so I have heard it all and have developed thick skin. I try to come up with projects that all my viewers like, but I don’t let insults and criticisms bother me.
I do not understand why people have the need to be mean so rude about a craft channel...if you don't like what you see, stop watching, lol, or just do it your own way...geez..✌️
@@CanterburyCottage You have to be careful. As you know from history, first they come for the glitter, next thing you know, it'll be the birds!! Noooo😱😱😱!!! 😅😂😊😂🐦🦢🕊🐦🐥🐤
I love everything you do and if people don’t like glitter they don’t have to use it! You always do what you like ! That’s what makes your work so special, you one of the most talented crafters I’ve ever seen !
They are all so CUTE! I think my favorites were the topiary in the lamp base, the tapestry tree, and the enamel kettle decoration. Oh my, such a lot of fun, unique, and quirky gifts! You just know what to do with all the .... things! I love it!
Love all these ideas! I just have a small suggestion for the thermos vase. Since its going to be a little top heavy, i would add some pebbles or vase marbles before assembling the picks in the opening, just to keep it upright. Thank you for the great ideas!
Sherry what amazing ideas you come up with!! Love every single one in every single video you share. They are all very outside the box ideas! So creative 🤩🥰 Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤ Be blessed 🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas ands tips. I absolutely loved everything and I too, love repurposing items at Christmas. Lol, I used a white gravy boat that had a vintage look. I did very neutral colors of sparkly ( clear glitter) greenery a birds nest 🪹, green velvet ribbon and a bird I found at Hobby Lobby. I loved it but it sold for a gift for the lady’s neighbor. Watching you has really paid off.😊❤
I was determined that I would pick only one favorite project, but I couldn't. I did, however, pick several favorites: the candle stick and mouse with the special candy cane touch, the brown leather softener container with the squirrel (oh, so cute), the Thermos arrangement, the oil lamp arrangement, and the green corner shelf. I did decide that I had favorites after all: the pastry blender decoration/card holder and the green enamel kettle embellished with fitting florals. You did it again, Sherry. I can see why you have a quarter of a million subscribers, a feat that is quite difficult. Congratulations, my dear friend. Your Virtual Neighbor, Liz
Every time I think you can’t do something more original you do! These crafts are the cutest things I’ve ever seen, especially that mouse holding the string! 🐭 💞
Only 47 minutes since you posted this and both of the makeover pieces that I love most are gone! It’s ok because literally everything you created gave me inspiration to create my own. You have a gift! Thank you!
Thank you, Vicki! I do think some viewers go to the store before watching the video, that is why they are gone already. But, making your own is even better!
You are the MacGyver of crafting, I love watching all that you do, you are so very creative and talented.. I love the mouse holding the candy cane, and the snowman, especially the pin arms.
Once again you have shown us a wide variety of creative DIYs for the Holidays! There are many favorites- but the tapestry Christmas tree on the spindle struck me as the perfect addition to the holiday spirit. I envision a fantastic forest of festively festooned fabric trees in many shapes and sizes and made from amazing thrifted pillows, gowns and curtains to name a few sources! Thank you for the inspiration!
These are all adorable! LOVED the snowman! I was thrifting today and I saw several pieces that I know you would love! I found myself thinking, “I wonder what Sherry would do with THAT!” 😊 Blessings!
Tous tes projets sont incroyables, étonnants, mignons et adorables 🫶😍👏👍👌😀 J'attend toujours avec beaucoup d'impatience la sortie de tes vidéos et à chaque fois je suis surpris de ta créativité et imagination 🙋

Love the vintage kitchen utensils. The pastry cutter is super. I’ve been collecting vintage utensils for a time now with the idea of using them in Christmas decor. The enamel pitcher is awesome.
How serendipitous! Your video popped up as I was taking out some rescued teacups to craft with! I love using old containers, tins and china as vessels or dioramas. Enjoyed this weeks offerings very much, thank you.
Ms. Sherry, You are my vintage-upcycle-decor HERO. 😊 You have absolutely original and unique ideas that are so beautifully executed. And how lucky are we that you share your talent so generously! ahhh the pastry blender christmas card holder idea was my favorite , hands down. what a vintage episode. love love and thank you for bringing merry to my life.
I love everything you created! My favorite is the Wedgewood teacup ornament with the bird nest and bird in it! You brighten my day with your inspiring, upbeat videos. Merci beaucoup!
You’re just amazing!!! Your imagination is incredible!!! Every time, I laugh out loud, because we have so many of the same things…. I have that exact pillow, and couldn’t think of what to do with it… I’m going to use your idea!!!
I've watched thousands of DIY videos, but I have to say, your ideas are incredible. Your house is amazingly beautiful, and I am awestruck by your talent! Merry Christmas!
Beautiful ideas Sherry. That adorable tapestry tree was so cute, the little mouse, Santa, and well everything just great. You are one talented lady. It is really hard to pick one that is a favorite.
Again you never fail to amaze. As each project unfolded, I thought it my favourite. Until the next one. And then you embrace some of them with the lovely tree shelf! Thank you for your brilliant content.
I discovered your site while visiting my sweet friend, who is a fan of yours, while visiting her in Alabama I'm back home in Colorado now, and you're one of my favorites. You have such a creative mind.
Fantastic ideas as always, Sherry. Loved all the projects. The corner shelf turned Christmas “tree” shelf is stunning. Also loved the enamel kettle with the lovely arrangement.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. All is fixed. You are coming through in English loud and clear. Thank you for fixing this situation for me, and just to let you know... You are AMAZING! Love your ideas. I especially love your home makeovers. I need to hire you. Your home is so warm and cozy and inviting. Thanks again Sherry
Thank you so much for those kind comments, Aurora! Yay! I am so happy you can hear the real me, again! I really appreciate that you let me know about this issue, and I am glad that my YT manager was able to fix it!!!
The sewing themed snowman - so creative. The mouse floral - very cute. The snow tex does look like real snow and there appears to be no mess. Using the vintage thermos as a vase was, certainly, an original idea. OM - that fabric tree was so perfect when it was finished. The oil lamp topiary is very different and another original. I was waiting for a bird and you certainly didn't disappoint. Unique card/ letter holder. The garland looked great hanging from the mantle. A rub on transfer can certainly enhance and upgrade any container. Oh goodness that shelf certainly was a great way to display favorite Christmas ornaments. Thank you for sharing these unique, interesting and creative projects. I always look forward to your videos. You make it lookso easy. You are awesome!!
How inspiring your craft projects are. I couldn’t say which one I liked best because they were all beautiful. You demonstrated repurposing items beautifully. I am so impressed that I subscribed to your channel.

Sherry, you always come up with the most unique, creative and beautiful ideas! I especially like the use of the pastry blender for holding recipes! I have my mom’s pastry blender that looks just like the one you used! She was an amazing cook and baker so it would be so perfect to put some of her special recipes in it. I have several IOD Christmas transfer sets too. Thank you so much for all the ideas and inspiration you share with us! I loved all the projects in this video!
WOW, I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT~~NO glitter, I am so proud of you girlfriend!!! These items looked so much more classy than the shiny stuff and I am sure your lungs benefited from not inhaling it too. 10 out of 10 today for you...Loved the corner shelf idea as a tree shelf.
And... you did it again! Every project is original and cute. I especially like the Christmas tree made out of a vintage pillow. That one goes on my list. Also, the garland with the book covers. You're amazing!

the use of the pastry cutter as a Christmas card holder is a clever and unique idea!
