Lovely mix of old and new. Seems that a tour of most later model yachts these days is like a tour of a Dentist's office - cold and very non-traditional. This one is a good mix of modern and traditional. Also good to see you filming in 4k.
Totally agree with the décor assessment. Too many new yachts have awful interiors, blond wood, sharp corners, contractor grade cabinetry. It is like one is staying in a Motel 6. (Which is fine for an inexpensive motel, but not for a yacht.)
my ocd is off the scale the film guy left doors pushed ajar, push lock latches poped up...ahhhhhhhhhhhh!! I saw her in Southampton but it was not the right time and was reminded in Corfu when we anchored together a couple of years ago. When I saw this I had just spent the money on a new development, I wonder when we will be together!
Just about the nicest sub 70’ sailor I’ve seen. It would be a beautiful home for me, my daughter and two grandkids and a couple of crew! Plus a cabin for visitors! Just perfect. I could sell my house and buy her, but wouldn’t have a penny left to moor or sail her! You’d need to feed her with aprox $60 to $100 grand per year!
What a Beautiful boat !!!! Absolut dream... I dream To navigate on this boat and To bring my family It Will a such big pleasure for me To do a surprise to take all my family on board and travel all along the world
very good question..... notice no takers on the answer.... considering the kit I think these are still considered coastal cruisers. I know the fixed glass is just glued lexan and prone to failure is heavy breaking waves.
"Hours under five thousand". Making the reasonable assumption that she was referring to engine (motoring) hours on the clocks, that seems a fairly significant amount of time away from the dock in nine years.
Steve Evans yeah no the crew on this boat is (was?) Very experienced. There was a mid sea rescue they had to carry out. Monday never did a video on it.
This yacht has sold but for future reference, you can always find the price at the first link in our video descriptions; unless the yacht is unavailable of course. Kind regards.
Beautiful yacht, but not my cup of tea. When you get into this class and price, I lean towards the FPB 64 or FPB 70. This particular yacht is very high maintenance. The FPB 64 is a go anywhere in world in any kind of weather terminator of yachts. Pretty much the same price and the 64 will give you about 8000 miles on 1 tank of fuel, maybe more at lower RPM and very l.ow maintenance. The discovery's are beautiful yachts, but end up being more dock side condo's more then anything else. There are 2 Discovery's in the marina here, and they never leave the dock. The FPB demands you take it out and its for tropical or high latitude.
Comparing this to the FBP 64 is like comparing apples and oranges. Totally different kind of vessel and buyer. Just for the record Circa Marine list the maximum range of the FPB 64 as 5500 Nautical Miles or about 6330 miles. 😀 This vessel has an unlimited range without the need to use a single drop of fuel. It is a sad fact that most boats never leave the dock, whether they be sail or motor powered.
Compared to the commercial fishing world, these sailing designers; well I don't think they have ever even been to sea. No#1 keep your hatches, engines and electronics warm and dry!!!! ------------ OR don't put them in to begin with.
@@BerthonInternational I will concede that sail boats have different set ups and needs. But when I see outdoor engine hatches and leaky outdoor lockers and outdoor electronics I just cringe. Personally of all sail boats I have ventured upon, I like the centre cockpit Norseman 447 the best. We almost went voyaging but health got in the way. Still dreaming of it thou.

The planning looks to be extremely efficient, truly spectacular, thank you.
I just love this boat ! Frankly Ginormously !!
Tilly mint spectacular Inside and outside outstanding ,,,
Great video, very professional, wonderful narration
Technically perfect use of the word ‘ginormous’ at 8.25. 😁
Is this the same Tilly Mint that rescued the crew of Dove II?
What a beautiful yacht!
I think so. Amazing ship!

The crew of this boat rescued a family in distress on the Atlantic in 2017!!
I saw that video too, great boat, and the team who helped are decent people who did the right thing.
Well done film and presentation
Very nice, classic layout. Good systems.
Amazing Yacht! even better review! Thanks for sharing.

Awesome presentaton nice boat...
Beautiful yacht, unfortunately something I can only dream about.
At 1:20 you can see the discovery 57 tested by yachting monthly
hypnotic video....
I'm gonna go play the lottery real quick and then buy this boat with the winnings. brb
Nous aimerions connaître le titre du morceau de musique qui passe en fond de la présentation du bateau . Merci
I'd rather have a white painted deck than teak. Makes the interior 10°C cooler in tropic climates.
Gorgeous!
His Tilly mint for sale or not can you let me know thank you cheers mate
Just beautiful!
Beautiful boat!
Does the music and the voice elevate the price
beautiful voice
Why just MCA Category 2 rated? Area Category 2 - Up to 60 miles from a safe haven.

Tilly tilly!
Just bought my 2 lottery tickets..let's hope...👍👍👍
How many does it take to drive it around the world, could a retired couple do it ???
@@BerthonInternational I'd want a 20mm bofors thrown in for.....PIRATES!!!!
The female narrator is a welcome change to the men that rattle off specs and engage in run on then forgetting what they were saying!
I agree except she could modulate her monotone voice to give it some vocal interest
Great shape for such an old boat, but it likely spent all its days at dock, so not much worry about use.
"Hours under five thousand". Making the reasonable assumption that she was referring to engine (motoring) hours on the clocks, that seems a fairly significant amount of time away from the dock in nine years.
Actually this thing ran charter back and forth across the Atlantic many many times.
That's what I had heard. Good to see a boat getting good use. Nothing more sad than a slip queen.
Steve Evans yeah no the crew on this boat is (was?) Very experienced. There was a mid sea rescue they had to carry out. Monday never did a video on it.
Steve Evans the boat is 9 years old, that's not that bad. It's pretty easy (at least in the states) to find a boat from the 60s or later
Beautiful
Nice yacht))
beautiful
price please
Nice boat but cost lots of money keeping her that way, You got to have very long pockets and a lot of love, Otherwise give it a very wide berth.

Thats a LOT of hull to paint!
Just a dream but oh what a dream
This boat sunk earlier this year...
Asking how much?
Further details at link in first line of video description.
Well how much for that flo@ting island?
$1.4 million and change.
You know a word like ginormous has been canonized when it is unironically used by a posh English person advertising a million+ dollar yacht.
