    Um Veleiro desse merecem um vídeo de revisão completo, como os produzidos pelo canal "Bom Barco" ou "Revista Náutica", incluindo legendas em inglês para mostrar a qualidade da indústria Náutica nacional.
    Ou ainda, se possível, o estaleiro deveria entrar em contato com o canal "Nautistyles" que já mostrou algumas lanchas e yachts produzidos no Brasil, não menosprezem o poder do RUclips para divulgar o produto de vcs, pois os grandes estaleiros já investem pesado nesse tipo de mídia.

    What a beautiful and purposeful looking yacht. Love that lower beam galley where it belongs. Just one thing: can someone explain to me why these square shaped sinks with sharp edges are popping up in the heads of new yachts, much less on a vessel that's supposed to be designed for heavy seas? I *really* don't want to think about what happens if I lose footing after the boat drops off a wave while brushing my teeth or trying to wash up after a long day. ☠ 🤯 ☠ Please put in a real wash basin with a non-lethal shape. Oi. edit: I just looked and Garcia is doing the same thing, but with a thinner and even more dangerous looking edges. Maybe the thought here was that the sink doubles as big fiddles, but it looks dangerous and ill-advised to this sailor. Color me stumped.

      @damienchaves Месяц назад +1

      Hi, thanks for your comment. The sink and furniture shapes are a client choice. I am personally not scared of this furniture shapes. I believe danger can be found in most traditonal sailing yachts with too much space in the salon without having nothing tô grab on... people can loose control of their bodies and gain speed before hiting something.... this boat have places tô grab for every step you take on board, and i Think this makes a much bigger diference on safety.

  • @somebody6048

    Hard to believe that it was cruising at that speed in the video with just wind & sail power.

    • @damienchaves

      No motoring, i was on the helm during all this footage. This boat weights only 30 tons and have a huge sail area that can be managed short handed. I have sailed this boat reaching 16 knots of boat speed with 20 knots of real wind.

      Hi! In a boat this size, electric Power is beyond solar panels capability, and the genset is expected tô run at least 30 minutes per day for water making, waterheating or even for lifting keel handling. It is more than enough tô take the lithium battery bank fully charged. It could put solar panels everywhere thow, but you wouldnt feel a big difference... in my personal opinion, It is not a good investment...

    Sorry, I don’t care if it was a client request… As someone who’s actually spent time out in rough seas, all the sharp edges & corners are a HUGE red flag 🚩!!! I.E.: Check out the death trap of a corner on the counter top end wall between the sink & head at 2:32. Not to mention the sink itself… 😬 & it appears that there are multiple heads like this one… All I can see are extremely dangerous accidents waiting to happen… I don’t care how many hand grabs/holds are available. I’ve seen guys that have been out at sea their entire lives occasionally slip & hit the deck. Especially in areas with sinks & water… Even the state rooms have sharp edges on all the cabinetry… Have the designers lost their minds? I mean, really… Have any of you actually spent any time out at sea..? Perhaps it’s just a ‘soul less’ up front cost saver cutback for manufacturing..? Even so, as a designer, it just seems to me like a huge liability waiting to happen… The old timers, I recall hand crafting boats in the shipyards along the Mediterranean, & who I used to love to observe & study, as they applied their God given talents, would be rolling around in their graves seeing this type of design work… Listen can you hear them… That’s the Professore in the Naval Schools of Architecture at the Universities in Genova & Milano are screaming… Mamma Mia!!! & All while making the sign of the cross!!Even though she’s beautiful, to the untrained eye, to anyone with a little common sense & a modicum of discernment, she feels like nothing more than a ‘bad idea’ on a booze filled late night. All eye candy with way too much makeup, not to mention a ‘man killer’ under the skirt, so to speak... A full blown, high maintenance, fashionista nightmare… Just like someone approaching a door you know they shouldn’t open in a Horror Movie. Sorry guys, you won’t sell me on this one. You all should know better letting this slip out, off the production line… I don’t care who requested what, as an Architect, I can assure you that it’s your personal responsibility to lead the client when it comes to matters of health, safety, & welfare, when it comes to design. Perhaps you missed that in Professional Practice classes. I can assure you that I didn’t, nor did I in the professional liability & litigation classes. It’s time to pull off the blinders & Wake up. I hope you had the client sign off with full release of liability on this one, but, just the same, my conscience wouldn’t let me sleep at night. 🤔 Good luck…🤞 🫡

      I love this yatch. Great machine room, great safe and protected cockpit, beautiful, roomy, pratical... dont care if you are an arquitect, i have seem awfull arquitectural projects, and i would not spend any time in "old timers" design (i already did, unfornately, much worse then this in all senses).
      This is just as good as it gets for this type and size.

      I’m curious, exactly how much time have you spent on the water at sea? Have you ever know anyone that’s has been gravely injured or died due to a dangerous or negligent design flaw? I have… & I’m not the only person pointing out the extremely dangerous design here & elsewhere, that’s become a fad like trend. One that has no place other than on land in trendy bathrooms… Someguy9440 points it out as well, although he’s being a little more ‘diplomatic’ & ‘quiet’ about it in how he starts off his comment. I will bet you that he’s also spent some time at sea in rough weather & has experienced/understands the dangers, even while in port… I feel that as a design professional, I have a responsibility, and personally as someone who’s actually experienced rough seas, to point out such obvious dangerous design flaws, as sooner or later, someone will pay the price for it, & don’t mean that as a ‘pun’. Hopefully it’s not an innocent naive person who doesn’t understand what the potential danger is here… As for the boat designer, it’s far better for them to learn from & adapt from, by having someone critically speak out about such potential, than in litigation, after someone has suffered a grave injury or worse. Again, what is your level of experience (at sea, & as a designer), as it sounds as though you potentially mention having some? Are you a designer or professional in the naval architecture field? Do you own a yacht & have you spent time in seas dropping out from underneath you in 20-30’ waves? I’m just curious, as I’m having a great deal of trouble comprehending & even understanding what your discernment & reasoning is here, in attempting to justify & placate what here are obvious clear & present design flaws & dangers… & While there are many comments here on how beautiful the boat is, my guess is, just like on shore, there are many with plenty of positive comments about the ‘eye candy’, while there are also few who actually have the time at the Helm & fully understand the potential dangers & personal responsibility or liability. No doubt a trend of the ‘hashtag culture’, who today, often hastily sneer at sage experience, until they themselves suffer the tragic consequences, followed by a lot of tears, finger pointing, & criticism of others for their victimhood, while failing to comprehend that they did it to themselves in their own blindness. Unfortunately, many in the younger generations, who do such, foolishly bad mouthing the ‘old timers’, eventually have to learn the lessons of causality, the hard way, & in adulthood with often dire results, as they didn’t learn such during the developmental stages of their youth when it was appropriate. Being a ‘Gen Xr’ myself, I assure you, I could care less, but offer my thoughts in an attempt to truly be helpful. As for me it’s kind of like watching a slow motion train wreck. I suspect from your comment that you actually have never had the privilege of stepping aboard a wooden handcrafted vessel, like those I earlier commented on, either motor or sailing yacht. If you had, you’d know that the subtle refined elegance of such vessels only comes from experienced craftsman’s hands who worked directly with either the architects and or designers. All craftsmen alike who comprehend the golden rule that ‘form follows function’ & that such subtle elegance does not trade off safety while out at sea… If you’d, like to see for yourself, just make a trip to the Italian Rivera. There’s a small port a few kilometers outside of Santa Margherita Ligure, called Portofino. I’m certain that if you spend some time there like I did, that you will eventually catch a glimpse or two of such refined hand crafted vessels occasionally coming & going. There’s also a fabulous bakery in S. Margherita with some of the best focaccia that you will find anywhere in Italy… Cheers & good luck!! Best regards, an ‘Old Timer’ named David. lol ;]

      If you travel the world 🌍 you don't want to have to do it from a submarine or live half underwater. this boat draws on the life time experience of people like the Dashews....
      It's functional design based on dealing with thousands of miles sailing and or motoring through extremes of weather but it's aimed at people/families who want to do it in some luxury...but quite probably short handed in safety.

    • @damienchaves

      I personally believe design should always go together with the sailor needs, and i think this boat make a true statemant for the sailboat market, wich keep on selling flush deck sailing yachts for cruisers, wich the owners have to buy and install expensive and fragile canvas work everywhere tô protect the crew from the weather. It doesnt make much sense tô me...
