Thank you for a great recipe. We could not find lamb shanks so used lamb leg steaks, and used crushed garlic instead of garlic puree. It was one of the best meals we had made for a long time, especially as it was so easy to prepare. A bonus was that the extra sauce was a marvellous soup with cooked liquidised carrots. Will be trying some more of your ideas very soon.
