Mr Briggs is a big dude they gonna need at least a couple of people and have a good plan to out smart him Mr Briggs is far from stupid he knows what's going on.
I feel like former Cincinnati, Ohio mayor Jerry Springer(yes, that Jerry Springer) should have gotten an honorable mention. In the 70's, while a city council member, Jerry paid a prostitute in Newport, KY with a check. Then he stopped payment on the check. The Newport PD found the check tacked to the bulletin board when they raided the brothel. He resigned from council, but ran for mayor in the late 70's and won.
Regarding NJ mayors, you are correct!! Camden, Newark (Sharpe James), Trenton (Connie Mack), and Atlantic City (Frank Gillem) all did time or will be doing time. Four of the last eight mayors Atlantic City has had were charged with crimes.
Reminds me of a joke I once saw about these kids who got a list of things their corrupt congressman did. One of them asked "Why is washing money wrong?" and the teacher replied "Uh, no, that's money laundering, and it's very bad."
In the case of Ray Nagin there are hundreds of millions of dollars in federal aid that went missing. Many areas of New Orleans to which that aid was intended have to this day not been rebuilt.
Absolutely!! But he hasn't been indicted and probably never will. This is NY, who cares about a missing billion of two. His wife and mother in law both said it was spent on good causes! They just lost the receipts.

Bloomberg needs to be in there. When the people of New York City were united against moving Yankee Stadium to the railyards near the Javits Center, he did everything he could to force it through. Why? As Mike Francesa used to say, "This is all about making rich people richer." His friends, Jewish real estate moguls, owned much of the land in that area. The value of their land would've gone up at least 10 times, maybe as much as 100 times. Everybody knew what was going on and Bloomberg became the most hated man in New York City. The people prevailed and when Bloomberg left office he was hated by pretty much all demographic groups in the city. A true piece of excrement.
I might be jumping the gun but our former mayor of Palm Springs, California is close to going to go to trail. He is getting charged with taking bribes from developers.

Buddy Cianci. The first time sentence was not racketeering. Buddy hijacked and then poked a lit cigar in his estranged wife lover , right at her lover’s pecker.
