Mobley's perspective on this is priceless; literally lived the life that Ja wants so desperately, is also a father to someone who looks up to Ja, there is genuine fear and discouragement in his voice discussing this. He has a responsibility to his daughter to be the best possible man he can be, and he continuously chooses the foolish decision. I believed he could turn it around after the last incident. Cuttino's point about parenting is on point. So many parents don't hold their kids accountable for any of their actions. A friend of mine who is a teacher has told me about how parents come in and get hostile with her because their kids failed a test or didn't get a grade. Like it's her fault their kid didn't study and apply themselves. Everything is someone else's fault. I imagine that is the type of bad parenting that Morant grew up with.

He was the golden boy of the NBA…who didn’t enjoy watching play and that literally flipped like night and day. Obviously his dad has gotten away from parenting him.
