70 years old wow looks and plays like a young man. Whatever Mr. Scary is doing it’s 110% working. Broke living in LA , rejected by Ozzy over a haircut lands with Don Dokken and history is made. Hats off to you Mr. Lynch great guitar career and stand up Dude.
Rejected by Ozzy over a haircut? I know Lynch said that numerous times but, you believed that? If Roades had been bald, and horribly disfigured in a fiery crash he would have been Ozzy's guitarist. Looks matter in show business, but a good musician who writes good songs that take your career to the next level is priceless and won't be negated by a haircut that can be fixed in a few months. Ozzy himself had his hair cut short around this time. People who were there said Lynch had trouble getting the songs down. Warren DeMartini tried to teach George some of the songs and solo's while Ozzy looked for another guitarist. Remember Orange, If it doesn't make sense, it isn't true. Lynch wasn't going to come out and say "I just couldn't get the songs smoothed out quickly enough". Ya know?
Ozzy made a Public Relations stunt of shaving his head bald in 1982 and ended up singing Black Sabbath songs with his band at the Ritz in New York City!!!!!!
George wow a living legend. Never selling out. Freaking riff machine. Tone for days. Just the right amount of crunch. Makes you want to pick up an axe and just play along.
Some guys stand the test of time because they know being authentic is the key to not only their own happiness, but their own overall success. George Lynch, Mr. Scary always knew who he’s been. Pressing forward, with no regrets, being honest and allowing the GUITAR as a vessel to move him from place to place. He is amazing. 40 years later, and I still can’t get enough ⚡️⭐️👁️🎸👁️⭐️⚡️
Glad to see Lynch active again. This is good stuff as expected. The vocals are great, and it's a very catchy song. I can't wait to sing this to my wife when we finally divorce.
I love George lynch! He really has his own voice on the instrument! He comes directly to my mind, when I think of a great player! He is among my top 4 favorite players, right there with Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens and Vito Bratta! It is inspiring to listen to players of that class!🤘🙏❤
With respect to your opinion, he's decent but nowhere near RJD. Dio never had fry in his voice and didn't hide behind production techniques. He was all dynamic range from the diagphram. That's why even Ripper Owens says he has a hard time covering him. Sorry, I'm just a huge DIO fan and he heavily influenced my hobbyist vocals.
WTF? Joe who? I'm a young 55, I'm also a drummer, guitarist, and singer! I've been in many bands over the years as one or the other and sometimes a combination of two of the three. Vocals and Drums or Vocals and Guitar. I have been a huge music fan (all genres) from the time I could talk/sing. But, I have especially been a huge fan of Rock and I listen to everything or everyone or so I thought anyway. Which is why I'm sitting here listening to this badass song on repeat for the last four hours and I'm asking myself why and or how is it that I have never heard of Mr. Retta before yesterday? When I fortunately found this little gem. This guys voice is incredible! And for all of you youngbloods in the crowd, when you hear someone say a singer has this or if you're a singer and you happen to be in the studio laying down the main vocal track for your new song then after the 3rd or 4th take you hear the producer's voice in your cans (headphones) say it's sounding really good man but, its just missing something. Then a few seconds later he or she pushes the talkback button again and they say, like I said it's sounding great man so lets try it again but this time put more "SOUL" in it. Your brain should immediately see a picture of this cat (Joe Retta) Mr. Retta should always be your "go to" reference point for "Soul or Soul-fullness" or top three at least! Another great soulful vocalist would be Glenn Hughes, just don't over do it as GH tends to do it from time to time....lol I would say Joe Retta is in the very small group of vocalists who are the epitomy of what a soulful voice is and should be! Hard Stop! Now, for this tune specifically, First, you have Mr. Retta who is providing this song with cool lyrics that tell a story and vocals with "some soul" in spades. Second, you add in that heavy and hard driving 4/4 beat with this killer rhythm section, (who I'm also not familiar with) that bad ass bass tone, and that deep kick drum punching you in the chest like a f**king sledge hammer! Then the for the "coup de grâce" you bring in the one and only Mr. George F**king Lynch and let him do his "thang" playing some seriously tasty ass licks (like he always does), with his magic fretboard touch/feel, and every ounce of that killer tone that he is able to squeeze out of his guitars and amps. And what do you get? A very bad ass 4/4 heavy rock song that is as good or even better in my opinion then any heavy rock song from the 80's! So, youngbloods if your friends ask, you can tell them this is the classic 80's heavy rock sound all wrapped up with zero fillers and produced extremely well! Too bad the production quality wasn't this good back then. I'm also a huge Y&T (Dave Meniketti) fan. I've always said Y&T are one of the best "Live" bands you could ever see and in my opinion they are in my top three "Live" bands. I wish there early studio albums had this level of production quality If their earlier albums sounded this good I think they would've gained many more fans and probably would have broken through to super stardom and headlined arenas around the world. But sadly, they didn't get production like this until Scott Borey began producing them on the "Contagious" album. Guys, awesome tune, please make more. And George you should really do something with Dave Meniketti. That would be very badass to say the least! Peace out!
He didn't make it sound metal, gave it a blues groove, added to the song, made it that much better, going on my work playlist. I am not worthy of your mighty tone sir! Good groove.
He’s an anomaly 😂 hes still kicking ass, and putting ppl to shame. I love new music too thats coming out, but ppl I think forget how to write catchy songs and that’s hard to do in my opinion, ppl just play the Olympics on guitar now I feel. 😅 not saying that’s bad, but I love this.
George has such restraint with his guitar tone. He makes the best of it without having the amp scream and hide behind a huge sound (as most of us would)! Solid song and great vocal work. The singer is a perfect match for George's tone too. Well balanced...
People just don't realize how big of a guy George is, I would imagine he could be someone to stay clear of if he's pissed off. But all the interviews I have seen with him he really seems like a likeable guy. I would love to meet him and shake his hand and tell him just how much listening to him playing and trying to learn his riffs and solos kept me from drugs and almost certainly trouble. Cheers
What I love about a George Lynch solo is that when most people would finish, he’s just getting started and that is when he starts to melt your face! 🤘🏼
George gets props deservedly for his lead playing, but I actually really love his rhythm playing -- his riffs and chord shapes are very unique and cool sounding.
Getting "old" has nothing to do with how much time has passed. George just proved it here. The fade out at the end was frickn' criminal!!! LET HIM PLAY!!!!

George Lynch at his finest at 70! What a great guitarist he is! So humble,so professional, great dude, awesome genius talent! Thanks George! You still have mega mega fans after all these, dokken, lynch mob,end machine rock music years!!!!!!!
Hell yes! This guy is the best since Oni on Wicked Sensation. He has the soul, the power and tone and just sounds completely natural doing it. Fantastic singer. Great tune. Beautiful sounds. And George rules.
George Lynch wow amazing so much soul, love that chromatic lick or whatever it's called, really like the bass player and drummer 2 and how the singer can sing clean or gritty, very nice job well done guys!
Best new song I have heard in quite a while. Always amazing to see the great George Lynch doing his thing. Singer’s voice is killer which is great to hear given how so many of the giants of rock have lost their voices.
George Lynch showing all the young punks how it's done.

It’s very crucial that the Vocalist writes the lyrics that he’s going to sing and convey to an audience!!!This gets 5 stars!!!!
George is a LEGEND. Period🤘🏼
My brother Gadafi, killing it on vocals
😂
That’s hilarious
😂😂
😅😂😅😂
lol!
George wow a living legend. Never selling out. Freaking riff machine. Tone for days. Just the right amount of crunch. Makes you want to pick up an axe and just play along.
Now that’s real music! Getting harder and harder to find these days.
Oh you got that right

Lynch has been rocking me for 40 years. One of the all time greats IMHO.
Same here..
This song is fire. George never disappoints. He is a riff master and a guitar God.
What a vocal Joe Retta is a beast
Remember him in heaven and earth great singer
Thought at first it is Paul Shortino… 😮
You’re the one that turned me into him. He’s incredible.

Agree 💯 His body of work with Lynch Mob and KXM is outstanding IMO 🫡
George doesn’t play guitar. He gets the guitar to tell stories!!
70歳の高齢者でこんなルックス、こんなギター弾けるなんて素晴らしい👏
Es ist auch die innere Einstellung, die Menschen jung erhaelt ❤.
George Lynch keeps cranking out amazing tunes. He is climbing to the top of the greatest guitarists of all time. His staying power is second to NONE!
Good musicians, good song , Joe Retta is an incredible singer 🤘

Singer sounds like a Ritchie Kotzen / Dio hybrid

That's kind of what I thought too. But Joe is a great singer- I saw him with The Sweet. I thought the song started out as a cover of Ah Leah A
Singer sounds like Eric Martin
