Really enjoying your presence on RUclips… this podcast is new for me and love watching your projects and ideas for future knitting and sewing… just got a machine but haven’t sewn anything yet but looking forward to it 😃👏🏼🥰
so many wonderful thjings you have knit and your advice for them is good for those of us considering knitting them. But you can slow down hahaha, you are racing at a hundred miles an hour and we have the time so take your time. I love that you made the water bottles foryour parents but I had the visio of your dad lying in bed with his puffer jacket on!! what? that's crazy. Do they have heating? Make him a scarf next time for his birthday as that would be great too. Your outfit for your niece was gorgeous, so cute. happy new year to you and yours.
I've been eyeing the Spot sweater for a while but haven't made it yet because of the fit of the neck, yoke and sleeves like you mentioned. I will make it soon, but I'm planning to mash it together with the no frills sweater except with a folded collar (no frills has a single layer collar). So my Spot sweater will have the stitch counts from Petiteknit's pattern with the colourwork of Anne Ventzel. It will have the fit that I'm looking for then! 😊
Anna, as a knitwear designer I would welcome all feedback. Yarn yardage, extra notions, wording you don’t understand, or anything that you like in the pattern.
Love your videos! I want to watch any videos you make. I also use small circular needles for sleeves (and for socks!) because dpns and magic loop also drive me nuts. I love them!!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts/opinions on the interchangeable needles. Never used- afraid I will lose the thing that tightens but have been wanting something for sleeves. Experiencing laddering now using DPNS and magic loop-no thanks. I would definitely appreciate any sewing makes! ✂️🪡
So, Hi! I’m enjoying your posts very much! I do😊have a on though. You mentioned “Ice😊” in the November issue and I looked it up. Are they in the US? They mentioned not refunding if their cargo container doesn’t make it so it made me a little nervous about giving them my credit card. Have you had any problems? Can’t wait for the next episode!😊
Spot - really gorgeous sweater with bad fit. I could tell the neckline is not properly structured. Its not the trim that you did or anything like that. Its just a not properly designed and structured neckline. For a worked in the round sweater whether its a raglan or yoke to have a proper fit you have to shape the shoulders, and create a proper neckline drop(not build up material at the back), and have many more short rows for the front neckline. Such a beautiful work! I wish it fit properly so you could really give it love. Let me know if you would be interested in one of my patterns where I try to get the best fit. I can gift you a few patterns with better structure and fit. Thank you for your videos!!!
@@molchi9565 making the neckline larger doesn’t improve the cone shape. Unfortunately. If you dont shape the shoulders having larger neckline wont help. And what am I to do if I want to keep my neckline narrower?
@@molchi9565 to explain why widening the neckline doesnt really work I have to say that you will make the shoulder line shorter. Meaning you wont have to shape the shoulders as much. Creating an illusion of better fit. But a cone shape is still a cone shape and the top of the sweater with this construction will ride up. This comes from years of experience and experimenting with a better fit for raglan and yoke sweaters.
My sincerest wish is that you would stand still and stop moving the garments soo quickly. I am specifically referring to your husband’s socks as that is where I am in the video. Each time I try to focus my eyes on what you are showing…you start fidgeting the item. IMO of course 😊
You are amazing. I admire your work and how fast you complete them.

Thanks for podcasting. I love the Mia sweater as well. It's in the queue along with many others. lol Kim
Those floats look so gorgeous I'd wear that sweater inside out
Thanks for your videos.
Spot sweater is gorgeous. The small sweater is adorable.

Excellent video. Love the new gifts and your knit projects. J'apprends le français. C'est une belle langue.

Such sweet gifts from your mom. Love your channel.

always love watchin your videos - especially your wrapups
Happy New Year! I've got those little ChiaoGoo circulars and love them so much. No more ladders.
I got those cutpie tags for Christmas too! I can’t wait to use them!
Dein Spot - Sweater ist ein Meisterstück, wirklich ein Kunstwerk.
Grüße aus Deutschland und weiterhin Spaß am Hobby 👋
Danke!
Happy new year to you! Great video again 👍☺️

I have the blue and red Chiaogoo mini sets and I love them! Thanks for posting another great episode
Wow, that sweater is phenomenal! Beautiful~~❤️
I look forward to your wrapped knitting and sewing videos! 😊 happy New Years!
I love your spot sweater. Thank you for your honest review. I think if I made it I’d have to make it in a lighter weight yarn or move to Maine 🥹
I concur! I think I’ll have to pass on it. I live in a warmer climate plus I think the fit would be terrible on me!
I LOVE that dress you’re wearing! I’m going to have to make one!
Thank you! It was a long project but it was definitely worth it.
i like the colors millie likes :)

there are also small circumference fixed circulars you could try! knitters pride makes a set of 10" fixed circulars that I've looked at before.

Hi! Ice yarns is based in Turkey. I've only ordered from them once, but I didn't have an issue!
What pattern is the gorgeous dress you are wearing? Apologies if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it!
It is the cherry dress from Sandnes Garn!
