Thanks man i needed this. The June plum is native to my country and this reminds me of my childhood. I want to start a home project of growing 1 June Plum tree indoors because i heard it can be done.....What are your thoughts?
It should work when you are starting them out or over wintering. Ours already had flowers when we got it as a seedling in a 3 gallon pot. They do like alot of sun so I would recommend keeping the pot outdoors if possible during warm weather
Hey , great video however the leaves don’t fall do to frost, this plant will drop all the leaves for the winter season in most places even the Carribean
Hey I started mine as a seed it’s about 10 inches now in a pot been about 10 months when do you think I should plant it in the ground I live in Florida as well.
This time of year the plants will start to loose leaves. If a cold spell happens all the leaves will fall off and just the fruit will remain. The plant quickly bounces back and you will have nice pretty green leaves again in the spring
I live in CFL as well. I just planted 3 seeds. So glad to see you have been successful in zone 9b
Also in zone 9b and about to plant my first June plum, awesome stuff man!
I love to put the leaves in salads because it’s nice and tart
We put ours in the ground when it was only about a foot tall. They are great little trees and good producers

Yummy!!! We love them still crisp and tard. We normally eat them dipping in salt and very hot crushed chilly pepper.
I will have to try them that way this year

Mine will flower but will not fruit and I have two of them in large pot side by side. This is the second year so I have no idea what's going on.

If you have a spot for it in your yard yes most of my plants have done better in ground than in pots
Im in Florida and mine is in a pot but leaves are getting yellow and falling off. Any recommendations
