Congratulations on the new little one coming! I’m a 67 year old grandma who wishes she could have been a stay at home mom. I raised my 3 children alone. Being able to kind of make up for it now, being retired, and able to take care of my grandchildren. I feel so blessed just being able to do it.

Big hugs. My daughter is going through a hard time right now with a divorce and 5 kids. 2 failed marriages because of sin. Its sad but I know God has a plan for her and I hope for a saved marriage before it's to late. Her name is Brianna if you wouldn't mind praying for my first born. Thankyou.

As an empty-nester to 4 heartbeats, I loved being a stay-at-home mom. I did not have children for someone else to raise or for someone else to spend more time with them than I. Best decision of my life with 0 regrets!!😊!

Don't regret a single moment of being home with my precious children. I had six and homeschooled them. I had children because i love children and wanted as much time as possible with them. Now have 6 grandchildren, so far, and they are a true joy!!! You are doing wonderful!!! What a joy a baby brings into your life!!!

Congratulations on your little one! I had my first at 20 and my fourth at 39. Now my youngest is 19. For nearly my entire adult life, I have been a stay-at-home-mom, homeschooling my children, and living debt free. Now, nearly 60, I am eager to develop my earning capacity before I reach retirement age and have turned to RUclips to share the homemaking skills I have learned: organic gardening, composting, canning, fermenting, sewing, etc. My channel is very new but I hope to grow a following of viewers among the younger generation who want to learn these skills.

I always told others, I chose to have children for me to raise. So staying home as a mother was so rewarding. I went back to school as my children were in school, I was in my late 30’s before starting my career. Graduating from college same as my son graduated high school. So you raise your children now and when an empty nest you can work. God Bless

As for other content creators, I’d recommend Mary’s Nest. Congratulations! Children are a blessing from the Lord! So happy to see you back. I have been working on growing my own channel. I need to get some better lighting for sure. That is next on the list. I love your idea of building a community. I, personally, had been criticized for being a stay at home mother. I will never regret the years of raising my children. I am truly blessed and have learned to appreciate things so much more through it all. May God continue to pour blessings out upon you and your family.

You are just the cutest mom. So happy you have started this channel. My mom stayed home with us and I truly appreciated it so much more than any material things we could have had. I perhaps didn't appreciate it as much back then...but the older I got the more I realized what a blessing it was to be raised by her and not someone else. The time we spent together was priceless. I don't have any children of my own, but l love your channel nonetheless....all of us can learn to be more self-sufficient and frugal regardless of our circumstances. Congrats on the new little one - may your family continue to be blessed!

You're a beautiful old soul! I'm a stay at home wife and mother. Because of bullies in the public school, this school year my daughter is 16 and I have decided to homeschool her. Then my husband had a stroke this past October I've been at home and now we don't have an income. So since I've been home I've been watching a lot of videos of RUclipsrs to learn new ways of living life as our lives have gone from two incomes to no incomes, and in the blink of an eye our lives have forever changed. So thank you very much for sharing, I don't usually comment but you are definitely an inspiration. I just want to say thank you so much for you being you! And your right about support from community and church , having community and church support has helped to cope with these life changes.
As for you and your family congratulations on your new bundle of joy, babies and children are amazing and beautiful as well as our future. I believe you're doing an amazing job and want to say thank you for sharing your life because you have encouraged me with what I'm going through it's going to be okay and another journey that God has for us.. prayers for your family God bless you all!!

I'm so happy for y'all! I came home year of 2022 when I finally retired at 17 years and my children are 9-7 and I've managed to keep them home and homeschool even when I worked but I have loved, loved, loved you videos and it helped me so much because when I came home finally it's in the middle of the mess and inflation lol I was raised frugally but this is hard. My parents even said this time in our world is harder. We need to support each other and share tips and tricks. We want our family first and not be a part of consumerism, and whatever this other stuff is going on. Lol my hardest thing right now is the change for my kids and adjusting to living more frugally. I know adjusting will happen but wow. It's been hard lol Christmas was different, birthdays are different but we got thru it! Homestead Tessie is a doll and that was precious of her. I've watched her for a long time! I guess since she started I found her. I've been training I say for being home for a while and trying to learn as much as I could before I retired and she was one of the ones I watched. We live on a 20+ acre farm and she helped, by her videos, decide how I was going to do things here. Anyways yay!!! Glad you are doing ok and glad you got some rest and we will be here when you make a new video girl. ❤

Congratulations on you wonderful news….babies are amazing gifts. I was told when I was young I couldn’t have any kids because of such a large tilt in my uterus…..well I have 2 grown boys and didn’t use no fertility treatments. They are my biggest blessing from God. So I do understand about the love of children coming first. My husband grew up without his mother( she abandoned him) and when we found out we were gonna have a baby he told me to stay home and raise our kids. So I too have lived off of a single income. Times can be challenging but more than anything my kids know I am always there for them…and they know they have roots. These things are most important to me than materialistic things. The love of a family should always beat material things.❤❤❤

How awesome! Congratulations and the new addition. We also just found out we are expecting, probably about the same time as you. So exciting!
This might be different for other channels, but many things that I have learned have been from Korean housewife vlogs. I have had a hard time finding American channels that show frugality ideas that I haven't already implemented for years, and so I have stepped out to look at videos from many different countries. RUclips has been such a blessing. Some interesting things I've found for reusing items are the cream or milk cartons and using them for drawer organizers, if you cut it in half then one end off and and do the same for a second one and connect the two with a paper clip, you have adjustable liners. Or another tip was cutting up old used rubber gloves and using them as rubber bands. I have never had as good of a rubber band to keep kids out of cabinets as the one from a rubber gloves cuff. Another tip was that most boxes can be turned inside out! I have kept my husband's work boot boxes and turned them inside out and now store off season clothes in them. They fit under beds well. I hope that this can give someone a nugget, that looking outside our country can give so much wealth if they are struggling to find more.

I am 67 years old and will soon have a 4th grandchild. When I was having children in the 80's it was a time when women were climbing the corporate ladder. When I decided to be a stay at home mom, people thought I lost my mind. It was lonely because I was going against the tide. I had to work at it to find like minded women to form a women's group for friendship and support. (There was no UTube or Facebook). I lived in an affluent area of NY and when my kids reached school age moved to Virginia. So if you are afraid of what people think, just stick to your beliefs and you will do fine. I think Utube is a great way to be part of a community.

Congratulations on your newest family member! You are a sweet breath of fresh air in the upside down world we are in. Being a stay-at-home mother is the best job you could aspire to. I was one as well when we had children at home and I never regretted a minute of it. My husband was in the military for the first part of it and the wives clubs provided a social outlet along with our church. After that we still had church and then the children were in school and I made friends that way as we moved around the country. Older ladies in the church were always wonderful resources for how to do things and made terrific friends. Now as one of those older ladies I am trying to do the same thing in our church. So many young wives and mothers didn't learn the skills earlier generations did. Learning how to budget and live within that budget, living below your income - no matter how low it may be, canning, gardening, cooking from scratch and even cleaning are things they struggle with. We need more channels like yours, who not only embrace, but celebrate being a stay-at-home mother. There is joy in running a mostly organized, clean and happy household that children are allowed to be little and everyone eats together around the dinner table. What seems mundane in the way of conversations around that table are actually opportunities to impart wisdom, encouragement and the knowledge that they are both important - and loved, to your children. I am so sad that the majority of children no longer are being brought up that way. You are such a blessing to all of us and I am sharing your channel with others. Congratulations and keep up the great work - as you are able. You are worth the wait!

You are such an inspiration! I was an at-home mom by accident. Two weeks after our second son was born, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and my health wasn’t dependable enough to go back to work. This was the best horrible thing to ever happen to us. RA is painful and it was hard caring for a toddler and an infant!! (Ex: I had to use my teeth to pull the tape off diapers, or ask my 3-year old to help.) My husband and I buckled down and lived a great life and I feel my children benefitted, even though I wasn’t very mobile through their elementary years. Because of the good life our sons enjoyed, they encouraged their sweet wives to be at-home moms and I’m so proud of them. Following your example, I started a RUclips channel about my life with RA. I am 67 and positive. So far I’ve recorded five videos. Congratulations on the new baby. I wish we could have had more. Thanks again!

First, congratulations! How exciting that a new little life will be joining your family soon. All babies are such blessings! Second, I just now discovered your channel today and have been watching videos left and right. I can't explain how much comfort it has been watching and listening to you. You're an old soul for sure and I love that! I'm here in Arkansas and am married with 4 kiddos. Your tips are going to help me so much I can already tell. You've also ignited that spark in me again to really buckle down on being debt free as well as being the most productive homemaker as possible. ☺

No apologies needed. Congratulations! You look wonderful. My husband and I raised five sons. I'm 64 now and a widow but my boys are very good to me. And yes, they're grown men but will always be my "boys". 😊 Raising our sons we homeschooled and it was the best decision. I am so happy to have them. We didn't make a lot of money during that time so I know all about frugality. I thrived in it because I love a challenge. You are rich in love and peace in your home. God bless. And having both parents present, is the true and steady road to raise children whom thrive. I love Homestead Tessie. I've been a subscriber of hers for years. She can be a wonderful mentor and friend to you. ❤

A tip on having a platform: just know that if you get big, your body might freak out, but it's ok and just be yourself and it will pass. The longwinded explanation - when I first became a hiking trip leader, I was not used to being the one presenting to other people, I always perceived myself as small in relation to other people, so when I was put into a leadership position, even though I knew I could do it, my body freaked out. I had all these feelings that I was too small/inadequate for the position I was in, and that I needed to be more than myself to be a leader. So, I acted more professional, tried to seem like I knew what I was saying more than I actually did, and tried to appear much more confident than I felt. But doing those things actually made this freak out response worse, because since I was always trying to be more than I was, my body never learned that if I was just myself everything would be ok. But, all that time, all I needed to do was just be myself, and showing people the way on hikes and talking to groups of 20+ people were things that I didn't need to be more than myself to do. And, in fact, these are things that no one needs to be more than themselves to do, we are all imperfect humans operating on an imperfect human level. And, that human beings are remarkably similar, so what will help 200 humans on say a hiking trip will probably help 10,000+ humans that go on that same hiking trip. I do not need to be a superhuman in order to successfully lead the new people that come on my trips. And that actually, the managers in my hiking organization that I viewed as more than because of their position, they are just humans doing the best they can with what they have too. Similarly, I believe the people with bigger platforms on RUclips are just people doing the best they can with what they have too, and in fact in a few years' time you might be the one that talks about an up and coming creator and they would go oh wow she talked about me. And it would be the same as when Homestead Tessie talked about you, because you are a human, and the new creator is a human too.
...Being a hiking trip leader is a smaller thing than having a RUclips platform, but I just wanted to let you know about this, in case your channel getting bigger might trigger this freak out response in you too. I believe it's called imposter syndrome. And that if you do get the freak out response, it's nothing to actually worry about, you are not inadequate, just keep on doing exactly what you're doing. Just give yourself time, surround yourself with the people that ground you, and it will pass. And, even if it is hard, try not to mask yourself, because then you'll take a longer time to learn that everything will be ok if you are just yourself. ...So yeah, in case you get the freak out response, just wanted to say that you don't ever have to be more as a RUclips creator than what you already are to your friends and family.♥

To all the ladies and families that chose to live within their budget, even if it is only on one income. You are teaching your children how to live within your means, which is absolutely wonderful. You are also teaching your children that they don't have to keep up with the Jones, its all the big corporations that want us to be unconscious conspicuous consumers.
Your timing with your how to live frugally or within your budget is what has been needed for a very long time. There will be more need for this very soon as I believe we are going to go into some bad economic times. Thank you for showing that we can be frugal and be happy and fulfilled without always spending money. I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos and look forward to seeing all the great things you do. God Bless you and your family! Congratulations on your new baby!

I 💯% applaud you and your family decision to stay home and raise your children! I dreamed of having 5 children (most unpopular) and was blessed with 6! We chose for me to stay home when we were expecting baby #3. We wanted our children to be raised by us- with our morals and values. It was indeed lonely for me as I had no community of similar friends. Congratulations on your pregnancy! ❤
Congratulations also on being monetized in such short order on RUclips to be able to contribute even more than you already do, to your young family.
