Helena and Wilson! You are completely inspiring me to move to NFLD! Travelled through the province over 10 yrs ago and always wanted to go back, so magical. Time to sell our home in Ontario and relocate 😊 Thanks for sharing your videos and taking us on a tour of beautiful Newfoundland!
@@DiscoveringNewfoundlandYes, I did read that you moved from Ontario! So exciting! And to such a unique and beautiful place. Thanks again for sharing your videos.
That area near the wholes and walls are where families used to grow vegetables. My family are Laracys and I believe they had claim to a patch of it aswell.
I have visited beautiful, historic Cupids many times and marvelled at those stone structures at the top of the hill, but am physically unable to make the climb. Those views are breathtaking (if you hadn't already lost your breath climbing up there 😂)! Thank you for this video! It answers many questions for me, but raises another. I'm so curious about those holes and the rock walls up there, too! Another wonderful video; I really enjoyed it!
Sorry to hear that your unable to make the climb Carol we are glad we were able to let you see what it is like on top! We just loved it up there! This is one of the reasons we wanted to start doing this. Before we were physically unable.
@@DiscoveringNewfoundland Nearby in Bull Cove, another resettled community, holes from ruins of cellars are common. Also the rock walls may be a convenient place for laying rocks as they made vegetable gardens. Great for fencing as well. One more thing - Bull Cove has hidden treasure. Yes - I have a metal detector. lol
