My dad was stationed there in the late 50's and loved the area and the ppl..he was in several countries over the years, but he talked about St.Johns more than any.
the nicer part of Nfld is Corner Brook on the Humber River .... less barren looking .... nice salmon river ........and its important to visit Happy Valley Labrador to see the wilderness interior and get a feel for the immensity of the back country..............St. John's is its own special place that is unique in Nfld.....most of Nfld is not like St. John's although the boxy plain jane highly utilitarian characteristic newfy 19th century house architectural style is everywhere around the coast.............Nfld is a country all its own and it resembles old country Ireland more than it resembles any place in mainland Canada
St. john is a different place, you got it right in the title but the edit on the intro is incorrect.... also cape spear is not exactly st.john's, neither is petty harbor really... and petty harbor is boring as hell with garbage roads.... chafe's landing is aight food though.
@@Pkeats817 it's worth the trip. But start on the west coast by staying in Deer Lake and work your way East. St. John's is literally only the tip of the iceberg. Half way you will encounter gander. Look up the musical Come From Away - it's all about it!
"Best" things to do and where to go is definitely subjective. I hope they had a good time and enjoyed the visit, but the fact that this video didn't include George Street or Quidi Vidi means it's woefully lacking if you are advertising St. John's.
Great video but as a man and for man kind please stop calling your wife baby it's wrong and well it's just wrong. Babe is okay not the same meaning as baby its not the 1960's she's not a child.
Good job on the video..very bright colors to brighten the spirits on gray foggy days
The house colors look great! They take good care of their properties.
No. They don’t.
Great vid. That was so evocative when the fog rolled in. I swear I could smell the sea air.

God bless your dad. Truly, he is one the hroes that serves the country with honour and pride 🇨🇦

A travel vlog and you misspell the name on the town in the first few seconds of the video? lol
Great video. St. John's is the correct spelling though.
Correction: Royal St. John's Regatta
Very nice video

Do you think there's room for 3 Americans looking to flee from their embarrassing country (two adults, a kid and a labrador).
My next home insha Allah

I hope not
It's called St. John's. Just letting you know so you can fix your title & description. St. John is in New Brunswick.
Thank you
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel You're welcome. :)
❤
You spelt the name of the city wrong, St John is in New Brunswick, St John’s is in Newfoundland and Labrador .
TY
Are there city buses or do you have to hire a car?
there are city buses in St Johns but none in other places of Newfoundland.

Too bad renting a car is unaffordable there. :(

@@craigcooknf Thanks , lol. I was born in Gander. 🙂 I’ve lived away, so yes, I am jealous still! 😃
Take note of my name. Keats, from Bonavista Bay.
Yes! And I'm in the UK.It looks stunning and no high rise blocks.Had I have known about St John's
when I was young I would have gone there and stayed.
Boring in the extreme
Even 'Baby' looks bored to death.
