David Menzer is doing a fair job at this - with one glaring problem - and it needs to be addressed ASAP. It is disrespectful and jarring that he is not practicing the pronunciation of Hebrew Names - People and places. I have no issue with him not speaking Hebrew or perhaps not speaking it well. As a 1st gen immigrant, I will also always have this issue of less than perfect Hebrew.
BUT - as the government spokesman for Israel, he should at the very least be coached, and scrupulously attentive to the pronunciation of our hostages and our deceased's names. Ariel's brothers name (yesterday) is Kfir - not Kfar (village)
It also bothers me personally that he does not seem to have this issue with the Arabic names of our enemies.
