Hopefully it's running by fall.....we'll see. It's a B&M prepped forward shifting manual valve body C6 from Super Shops, and a Ford 8" rear with 4.11 Detroit Locker. The engine in the video is a '72 302 out of a truck, mostly stock. I've got a roller cam 289 in my '65 fastback, it's the engine I built for my '65 Mustang coupe when I was a kid, first engine I ever built. It's got 10:1 TRW flat tops in it. My plan is to get the Studebaker running, get the interior and paint done......then install the roller 289, but with 13 : 1 pistons and my "Race on E85" Holley carb. I tend to bounce from car to car though, so who knows what I'll do.

@@owenrobertson sounds great! Definitely a unique car! Have you ever seen a jensen interceptor? They had mopar engines in them, either a 273 or a 383 in them. They are neat cars, i have seen a handful over the years at various shows.

@@puddleduckist, never heard of it, just googled it. British car with a factory big block, pretty impressive. They had 383s, then 440s, and some had 440 six-packs in '71, according to wikipedia. Cool car! Lots of potential to go really fast. I don't like the styling though, the back of it reminds me of an AMC Pacer. I went to high school with a guy that drove a 70-something Jensen-Healey, those were four cylinder cars I think. I didn't like that styling on that car either. I think it was a Jensen Healey, I might be wrong.
