Can I ask you- I've always wanted to start a candle making business but never had the guts... but I'm now a newly single mother of a 5 month old little girl & I lost my job due to covid also (was a hairdresser) I now don't wish to return to hairdressing, I want to start a business that allows me for at least a little while to stay at home with my baby. I don't need to worry about income for about a year as I have money through the single parents pension (something I never imagined being reliant on but for now I'm so grateful Australia has such a great welfare support system for women who become single mothers but I want to be off it within a year I would hope & pray) but I wonder- is this a business I could do? If u have the passion for it? Is it a legitimate business idea & is it something I could grow & develop & build into a cool little startup type biz that would support us? I can get a $10,000 interest free business loan through my local state government so after maybe 6 months of experimentation and working out branding etc I would apply for the gov micro credit biz loan & invest in everything, start my shopify store & kick off... what do you think? I would also love to
Eventually incorporate other products too like soaps & other bath/body and other all handmade type products like wax burner scented melts etc... I have so many cool ideas & it just makes me so so excited. But would love your advice. Thank you in advance:) Liv.
Nice guidance counselors u guys had
Is anoga online shopping website is yours?
This is an absolute delight. I read a book with similar content, and it was an absolute delight. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight
Thank You for sharing!! Inspiring :)
We're happy you appreciated the video, Kaushal! It truly is an inspiring story!
@@shopify it is indeed. I’m working on it and I’m trying to open my own candle making business. But first I’m trying to learn how to make different kinds of flavors of candles
We all have to start somewhere, right? With a little bit more time, we're sure you'll have several different candle types ready to be sold!
@@shopify yes. Thank you 🙏 for such a kind words
