I'm not American, so while the occasional yarn store tour is interesting, I skip over those videos because I couldn't possibly visit or buy anything from those stores.
I really miss your project planning content and would love to have a little of that back again.

The same for me about the yarn stores. I am from Europa and visit Canada almost every year. So I hope you are travelling British Colombia and Alberta one day and visit yarn stores there😂

honestly so do I! It just isn't for me, eve though I do appreciate how high quality those videos are, and how helpful they probably are to people who are American. I don't live in the US, I don't buy hand dyed yarn (can't afford it, doesnt really exist where I live). Yarn focused content is never my jam, because it's very Western-focused at least on RUclips. There's always barriers for certain people, typically people who live in different locations or can't use animal fibres or are have less disposable income to spend on LYS and hand dyed yarn. Project stuff feels more varied and relatable to anyone meets the basic requirements of having needles and yarn lol.

🤔 Hmm. Let me think… do I want a third KnittyNatty video every week or so??? YES PLEASE!! I love your content! As far as what do I want you to include?? Tutorials are always great - new techniques or even just tackling something that is really popular. I know there are other tutorials about Italian bind off or cast on, but Natalie’s tutorials are so clear and understandable… I would love to see that! Have fun traveling the U.S. 🚐🙋🏼‍♀️

More videos? Yes please Natalie and Kent! I am in the UK and I love everything you show! I’m primarily here for the knitting but I am loving seeing your travels in the van and seeing different parts of the US .I also love the shops you feature too! I know I’ll never get to visit in person but it’s never boring to see yarn- ever! Meeting the names behind the brands is lovely too. Yes I miss some planning videos sometimes but I think you’ve made up for it with great content along the way! Take care and a hug for Toaster x

I live in Australia and don't think I will ever get to America as I am not great with travel as I get unwell. I love seeing the yarn you have purchased and the things you are knitting or crocheting. Thankyou both for all the content and taking us all on your travels around America. It is amazing to see. Take care.

I LOVE knitting while hiking. Next yarny adventure...drop spinning while knitting! Nothing screams back to roots like spinning yarn while hiking through mother nature. :) I use a Knowknits drawstring bag (for both knitting and spinning while adventuring) which are also ripstop and good for the outdoors. I can put it around my wrist or clip it on a belt loop with a small carabiner.

It was so nice to see you advertising a chalk bag as a project bag! I once wrote a comment over a year ago, telling how I would do exactly that. A dear friend borrowed me an emtpy one when I visited her (I purchased sock yarn and needles because I left my knitting at home, and needed some kind of bag), and I was so sad I had to leave it behind when I travelled back home. Sooo half a year later she gifted me a hand sewn 'chalk' bag for birthday. It has a handle to attach to a belt, interior and outside pockets perfect for a piece of paper and one set of dpns and is just wide enough to fit a 100g cake inside. I don't even need cozys. It is my sock go-to bag since then. She's a knitter too, so she knows what things she had to adjust 😊
Additionally, since chalk bags are more commercially made, they are a lot more affordable in size, color, prize range and accessibility (local sport stores and stuff, or even second hand. The yarn doesn't care if the bag has tiny holes from scratching against solid rock walls). I wasn't able to buy stuff online quite a while because no credit card or paypal, in that case chalk bags are a good deal.

So I am from California, and I have not been to some of the most famous places in California. I grew up in the South Bay Area, so I have never been to LA or San Diego. We only travel out of the Bay and stay in the region to go hiking and camping, so only to Southern California to get to Mt. Zion. We usually travel north to go snowshoeing or camping in the redwoods. Hiking while knitting scares me because of placing my feet and getting hurt. Also, last but not least, I think Texas is both the South and the West, depending on where you are in the state, kinda of like California, New York, and Pennsylvania. It's because cultural regions are more loose and fluid, rather than statelines.

Whoa!! I would say skip LA, lol, but I love San Diego.
Okay that makes sense about Texas. Thank you!

You should totally do a Toaster vlog! Life on the road as a dog! Or something like that. Not sure if that would stick, but I would love to see him. He is so cute!

Love your videos. You have so much enthusiasm for knitting! But I must say I lived in Texas for several years but never felt at home. To be blunt. I hated living in Texas!

That’s okay! You’re allowed to hate it 😅 I liked living in Dallas, but I’ve liked other places more!

I’m loving all the travel content. What about a segment with Kent or Toaster’s view of your travels?

Anyone else wondering what critter was hiding in the background? Safe travels Natalie, Kent, & Toaster. You make me want to learn knitting. You have inspired me to splurge on hand dyed yarns and I’m building a little collection mostly of minis (20g each). I need crochet or Tunisian ideas. Would love suggestions.

      I’m still wondering!
That’s super fun! I love mini skeins.
You may have already heard of Toni Lipsey/TL Yarn Crafts, but if not she has amazing Tunisian crochet patterns!

I’d love a third video. I’m a dog parent as well as a knitter, so I am always interested in seeing Toaster. Perhaps not the whole video, but I love when you’ve shown Toaster’s trip adventures with voice over comments with his “thoughts”.
