  • A station (and local train as well) I saw in the Kore-eda's movie "Our Little Sister" fascinated me. I searched and found that It's Ashio station on Watarase Keikoku Line in Tochigi.
    I immediately started to plan the trip to visit there. Solo travel, just for the train and the station.
    I stayed at a hotel in Kiryu city and began the journey the next early morning.

    I’ve bumped into yours. Being born in Takachiho, Miyazaki almost 66 years ago, I’ve been nostalgic about taking a Takachiho Line to school
    Both had been gone with the passage of times. But beautiful landscapes and memories still are on my heart and mind. Thank you! I’m now from Thailand.

      A few years back, I think in Vancouver a single black bear killed 4 people in less than an hour. Though smaller than grizzlies, they can be vicious and aggressive.

    I really like this kind of video that's recording the scenery in stand still format, compared to vlog videos in first person view isn't enjoyable at all and giving me motion sickness. I hope you make more videos like this around Japan.
    also watching this video before sleep gave me nice dream.

    "Our Little Sister" is one of the greatest of movies. Subtle and deep in an understated beautiful presentation.. Your videos really bring out the feeling of being there along on the journey. Japan sure is good for solo trips and especially smaller lines and towns.

    I heard Higashi-Omiya and Hasuda, and started tearing up! I lived near there! I visited Kiryu a lot, too... I'm so happy to hear those stations called out again. The scenery hasn't changed much at all. Thank you for making this video!!

    I was recommended by RUclips probably because I was watching other similar videos like yours. I was immediately captivated by the way you filmed it. Very beautifully made. No talking. Just some simple English subtitles to tell the story. It was just like making a movie... not just you but us as viewers would be going out to explore beautiful Japan. I now can only hope that everyone take care and stay safe.... Once when the World is safe from the pandemic I would very much to visit Japan soon. Again, thanks for the vlogs.

    Very nostalgic. I lived near Kiryu 8-9 years ago and would have dance practice at that Shidax once a week. What a beautiful video showing the rural countryside.

    As someone who’s born and raised in a small village (but currently living in a big city), this is making me miss my hometown (especially due to the pademic when traveling is not a simple thing like it used to be).
