Went to Byodo-in temple after a snowstorm and it was magical! Lots of photographers in the temple that day. Tea shop owner told me I was so lucky and I believe him.. what an amazing place.
Kyoto looks like such a green city - the classic building colors as well as the vegetation give it a soothing look. The thatch roofs in the countryside are cool as well. Watching your travels, I daydream about matcha sweets and tea.

Japan's countryside basically looks like heaven ❤ and I want to explore it so bad but it will take another 3-4 years that I will be able to explore japan 😂

I really loved it and will add it to my long list of peaceful places in Japan. The green tea village is really nice, with an extraordinary choice and great variety. It's heaven on earth for lovers of green tea and especially matcha. I also really enjoyed the Byodo-in temple and the Uji-Jinja shrine. Great places for meditation and contemplation.
