Shouldn't you let the engine shut off on its own when switched to fuel off. That way, you're sure that excess fuel burned off.
Do not forget to remove the fuel from the carburetor using the carburetor screw to fully clear the lines
Wrong. Shut off the fuel and let the machine run until the gas in the lines is used up and it runs out of gas (~ 2 mins or so), then turn the switch to off and close the fuel cap.
