The 4K steelbook of Furiosa (the "golden" one) was announced as an HMV exclusive in UK right on the release date of the film in the UK cinemas (Warner Bros. tends to do that recently), so it's been up for pre-order for quite some time. As a matter of fact, it is actually sold out with a release date next Monday.
See that's a problem for myself because HMV do not ship over to Ireland so I have no way of getting my hands on it. I'm actually thinking about buying the standard release because the steelbooks that I mentioned in this video are not out until December. No way im waiting that long to finally check out the movie.
Some good looking releases there Keith...i better start saving!!! 😆 I've already got The Hitcher on pre-order, can't wait to get my hands on that!

Hey Keith, great job with the video. I did pick up the steel book in the US unfortunately, no deluxe box set offered here at least at the time anyways, it’s one of those steel books you have to see in person to appreciate kind of a flat black and semi gloss green I really like it but I agree you almost never can go wrong with the original artwork.
Finally got my system up and running 100% when I got my new OLED I had not used receiver in a couple weeks as the TV was broken and then out for repair which unfortunately they could not repair hence the new TV. so the day I set up the TV I turn the receiver on and there is an update. I download the new update and it F’s up’s the receiver, and it will not work contacted Marantz, erase the update download the update again helped, but still no sound. so disappointing and frustrating just about to send it off for repair. When a another update was issued and it fixed everything thank God, been catching up with the movies and twister was the first one I watched I expect you’re in for a treat I won’t say anymore have a great one👍
My god John you have been on a roller coaster when it comes to your home setup and I'm so happy that it's finally up and running for you. I can imagine what you must have been feeling like when you realised the receiver was not working. I think I would have been bouncing off every single wall in my room.
I will have twister edition in my hands in the next few days and I cannot wait to hear what that sounds like. Normally with me it's always picture first then sound but we are talking about twister here so it has to be the opposite. It goes without saying though I hope they deliver on the picture.

@@millerman9991 hey Keith, thanks definitely a roller coaster ride. I know you went through something like that with the Blu-ray/4K player and then your TV going as well hopefully that’s all behind us. call me a little crazy but I just ordered the top-of-the-line Sony receiver. I’m going to compare it directly against the Marantz and which ever one I like the best I’m going to sell the other one. The Sony receiver has some very unique features that in my particular situation could really help if it works as advertised so I’m checking it out and it’s also supposed to be a top notch receiver in its own right so I’m curious to see which one I prefer, got both of them at an excellent price so I should be able to sell one of them off and really not lose much money. What’s a couple hundred bucks if you improve the overall sound experience that’s worth it to me all day long. Have a great one and I’ll let you know how it goes, john
I enjoyed the northman and the picture on the cliff over the sea was the zav steelbook, i have the amaray slipcover, big fan of robert eggers and looking forward to nosferatu this year. I'll have to see what you think of furiosa atmos in your own gaff, was great in the cinema.
It'll be great to finally check out the northman. I've heard so many great things about it. The collector's edition looks absolutely exquisite as well. I can imagine what furiosa is going to sound like because Fury Road was reference quality. I can't imagine it been any different

The Hitcher is probably the most anticipated release of the year and I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on it. This is 2 years in the making.

Thanks for doing this, Keith! I would have never known about the two Furiosa Steelbooks. The one releasing in the states kinda looks bland in my opinion. But these are so much better!
That's why I am going to be doing as many of these videos as I can Christian. If you can help out even one person then I think it's worth doing. I'm still trying to decide which Steelbook to go for when it comes to furiosa. I'm leaning towards the first one that I show in this video. Cannot wait to check out the movie

I can't wait to see Twister in 4K, I think it's going to look amazing Keith. I can tell you now, you are going to be impressed with the 4K picture on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, especially on your TV, it looks beautiful. The Hitcher is the big one this year, it's a long time coming. I noticed your Kong and Godzilla figures behind you, very nice. Furiosa is a good movie and again the 4K on this one is going to blow you away.
I honestly cannot wait to finally check out kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. I have to admit Gary I have heard very mixed things about it. But I know I am going to get a visual treat no question about it. Furiosa is much the same. I can only imagine what it's going to look like on 4k. Awesome video, Keith. I ended up getting Twister on 4K from Amazon US as I'm quite impatient. It's not the steelbook, sadly, but I'm just glad to be getting the film on 4K. As for The Goonies, it would have been better to add a couple of new bonus features to make the purchase worthwhile, like maybe an anniversary lookback or even a feature length retrospective documentary. But I'll stick with my standard 4K of that.

To be honest Mike I have been saying that for years when it comes to steelbooks. It always baffles me
@millerman9991 it's the same when it comes to standard 4Ks and Blu Rays. Why create godawful photoshop shitshows when the original art is just going begging.
That's why I was so happy to see the original artwork feature on the twister Steelbook that's coming out in October

I honestly do not know. All I can tell you is I have ordered from Amazon Italy hundreds of times and only once I had to leave the item back. Having said that the distances is very different

I think particularly when it comes to Steelbook Editions it's definitely worth waiting for. I know i specialise in a lot of collectors Editions but paying 43 euro for a loan Steelbook is very hard even for me
Yea it's a lot especially when you know 100% the price will fly down.....I only picked up IT chapter 2 4k steel book for 7e on Amazon Italy last week..... And can order multiple films and the delivery charge is the same as 1 item 😉😉

@@millerman9991 Well that's the thing isn't it Keith, do you really want to spend money on a collectors edition you may only watch once. I have had a big think over the last week and have cancelled all of my box set preorders (except for Watership Down). The Hitcher is an Ok film but not worth over spending on. I already have Interstellar on 4k, quite happy to get standard editions of North By Northwest and A Nightmare On Elm Street. I am even selling a few of the box sets I already have. I will still buy occasional box sets in the future but only if its one of my absolute favourite sci fi films. Cheers. Gaz.

Don't get me wrong I don't go out and buy every single collector's edition that comes out it does require it to be a very special movie but thankfully we are getting a lot of special movies this year. @@millerman9991 Will do mate. There was also an announcement today for a UK 4k edition of Trainspotting. Got a message earlier for a steelbook edition and the artwork is horrendous. Don't know if there is a standard edition or not. Not mad on this film but would love a 4k release of Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.

Yeah Mark I pre-ordered both editions of trick or treat. I'm still very upset that it didn't get the limited treatment that I thought it would have got. Having said that to finally see the movie on 4k what a treat that's going to be and just in time for Halloween night

What’s wrong with Zavvi
I bought 10 items off them and 8 times the items came damaged and the other 2 times never got shipped. Customer service is a joke as well. I'll never buy from them again

Honestly Mark I have no experience when it comes to arrow Video. I've actually ordered my first Editions from them. Hopefully I'll have no issues

We've only got one and it's in Dublin which is an hour from me and the last time I heard they weren't selling any physical Media. I'm not sure if that's changed
Yeah that whole digital service thing never happened. HMV simply close down and never reopened until very recently. I'm almost certain somebody told me they went into it a few months back and there was no physical Media. But I also heard that it was coming but I never got around to seeing the place myself
