Love watching your videos Gary at 78yrs old i made a detector in the 80s it worked a a treat for finding nails, now got a deus2 and love it only had a few weeks and it is for sure a steep learning curve, i have found so far a palm guard bottle tops and a gun cartridge. your videos are a massive bonus thanks
Gary, your XP Deus 2 videos have been a tremendous learning tool. As a former Deus user getting the new Deus 2 this past February was not much of a learning curve but I missed my Deus Fast on the original. But after watching your video for using the Deus Fast on the Deus 2 -I guess it makes sense it uses the square sound . I primarily civil war/colonial/Rev war hunt here in Virginia; my first hunt this fall in 2 weeks I will definitely try your recommendations-to increase sensitivity and lower reactivity. Thank you sir! Keep the excellent Deus 2 videos coming and hope you are able to dig a little as well and make some great UK/Roman/coin recoveries.
Thank you for video, Gary! I've read in manual that 2,3,4 programs made on same platform, but its has various audio mode. Is it true? If I'll use 2 program and change audio mode to PITCH and REACTIVITY to 3, is it same program 4 or not?
See what you did Gary.....I bought the XP Deus II in late November, watched this video on Saturday, took you up on your advice wrt settings and found a 1562 sixpence on Sunday...I don't have the words :)
Another great video! I'm going to adjust the reactivity and sensitivity settings to match yours on my custom Fast program that I use in my favorite trashy parks.
I just bought the Deus II a couple of days ago and literally started a notebook based on your videos and of course my own future experience to learn the machine. I'm curious about which programs would you recommend the most for a field that has lots of iron, but also good finds from various eras: plenty of super small and thin medieval hammered silver coins, big copper coins from the 1800s and different sizes of old brass/bronze jewelry? I'd like to know the best base program that I could tweak depending on the conditions, to get the most of the good finds. Would you recommend hunting for the hammered coins with one program and for the larger copper targets with another? I only have the 11'' coil and would like to get the most out of its capabilities.
Good evening Gary, I had the chance to try the D2 because my darling bought it, it was in FAST FMF, I will say to lower the responsiveness and increase the responsiveness for a test, thank you for your advice see you soon.. Toch and Alexandrine, Gironde, France
Thank you I have the 11 inch coil , copied your test and fast not getting a 1926 sixpence at 10 inches. In fact none of the standard programs get it . They all have to be adjusted a lot to get a good signal . You seem to have no problem on any of the programs getting yours at 9 inches. Beginning to think I have a faulty coil.
Hi Gary, Thank you for all these great videos. I need help with my Deus 1. I am trying to search thru a pile of black sand and gravel pulled from storm sewers. but it's on concrete with alot of rebar and iron. Definitely a different environment than fields and such.
Gary, would you consider a ‘soup to nuts’ setup series, where you go through and establish step by step tips on setting up from turn on forward? I ask because while the manual. and your previous videos are amazing for a study of the stock programs, a guy like me, coming off a CTX 3030, is trying to learn a completely new language here. So a segment on ground balance and EMI, ground grab etc would be amazing. One on recovery speed would be amazing. One on audio would be amazing and so on. It would just help those of us who are new to XP.
Hi Gary, And what about set discrimination with pitch tone? Do you dig everything time if It s full of ferous? Thank for yours vidéos!😊 (Hope my english s understanding!)
Nice video. By making the changes to reactivity, is it not any longer the fast program? I thought that it was that parameter that is mostly what allows you to get through the iron masking.
Been looking forward to the video for this program. Wondering why you chose an uncontaminated site to demo the fast program after saying it's purpose is for picking through the iron? It was also a bit of a let down to have most of the video after the intro to the program be trying to recover the single target of the video.
I think he was trying to demo how the dynamics of the program can be changed based on ground conditions, I thought it showed quite well that fast is not limited to iron infested ground

Thanks for your kind words Wayne, I am glad our videos have helped you.
Do you prefer the Fast program on Va sites? I also hunt Va and really enjoy the Fast program but others often tell me to run General.
Gary loving my Deus 2! I revived it about a month ago and 3 Gold rings up. Enjoy your videos I learn a lot from them.
Thanks Mike 👍🤝
Merci gary de nous donner des petit astuces comme ça 👍 je préféré votre ancienne pelle j’en ai une et je l’adore 🙂🤝
Thanks Emmanuel 👍

As far as the manual says program 2,3 & 4 all use the same FMF platform, they just demonstrate different tone options
Yes they all appear to be on the same base platforms.
Nice demonstration Gary on how you can open up the program by scaling the reactivity based on the ground conditions
Thanks Dan I have an in depth reactivity video out soon.
Thanks Gary good video. P4 Fast has been my go to program on D2 since day 1.
Cheers Gaz 👍🤝
Well done Gary, great explanation of this program. 👏
Cheers Paul 🤝

Perfect work Gary, thank you so much 🙂
You are welcome sir 🤝👍
Thank you Gary for your good informative videos . Len
Thanks for your continued support Len🤝

Thanks ODB good luck with those settings.
Hi, im new and noob with deus 2, i already love it, i have 1 question do the silencer help with targets? I let at 2 or remove it at 0?

Thanks for the feedback my friends 👍 its always good to hear from you.
Great vid , what size coil are you using and are you on 7.1
Yes 7.1 and the 9" 22cm coil.
Thank you I have the 11 inch coil , copied your test and fast not getting a 1926 sixpence at 10 inches.

I freaking love you! God has sent you to thee, so that I may master my craft with this new machine🙏

Awesome, thanks Gary!!
You are a master deus user and teacher. Love your videos! Full disclosure... I cringe when you dig so close to your possible target 😉
Thank you, Gaz. Keeping it real on the recovery too as it’s not always plain sailing 😂
That's for sure V10, those fields are tough going sometimes.

We have years of XP tuitional videos here and on my own channel.

And what about set discrimination with pitch tone? Do you dig everything time if It s full of ferous?

Hi Seb, the iron rejection can be set by the user.
I find the factory settings work well.
@@The-skillschool It means you have to look to your screen each time! I try this mode, set on 48 ( discrimination) and i dig every good noise….:/
@@sebcsi3742 our small Gold coins can fall within the foil range.
Great idea for general searching.
@@The-skillschool i just went on your site: Top! :)
Can you add the frequency range while doing this series? It would be helpful. Thanks!
I don't know the exact frequencies but the ranges are all listed in your instruction manual.
Going to try Fast today👍
Let us know how you get on David.
I love the cow reactions :-)
I can't get enough, you should redue this series and add more tweeks and possibilities to these programs
Nice video. By making the changes to reactivity, is it not any longer the fast program? I thought that it was that parameter that is mostly what allows you to get through the iron masking.
It is but Gary demonstrated an area with no iron and how you can open the program up for more depth

@@Dan-Fox Thanks you explained it well.
When will it be updated? Depth, sir.
No idea at the moment, hopefully soon.
i am learning more
Thanks!!!! 👍
You are welcome Vlad
Is there a 15" coil in the future?
13" coil will be soon
I wish XP would add the threshold option to all programs. I guess I swung a D1 too long, always wind up selecting PWM over square 😊
فلزیاب آپادانا ❤️🔥🔥🔥❤️

Thanks 👍

I can’t get used to it at all 🤦♂️
Nada .para los de habla hispana
Get your self a garratt carrot
I agree. I got rid of my xp pinpointer and went back to the carrot.
Why the Mi6 did a perfectly good job, the target was simply deeper than Gary anticipated.
