Two members of the U of M track team are sharing their "coming out" story -- and their love for one another, reports Esme Murphy (2:20). WCCO 4 News At 5 - June 1, 2017
If society wasn't so screwed up and full of hateful people, there wouldn't have to be a such thing as a "Coming out" story. Lucky for these two guys they got positive praise from family and friends. They were lucky. They make a very nice couple. In my own opinion I don't think anyone should feel the need to tell others their business. It's nobody's business what anyone does in their bedroom gay or straight but I admire their courage and I admire their fearlessness

You example of how do two people of the same sex procreate is flawed, what about opposite sex couples who DONT want to have children , or opposite sex couples who cannot have children . Then you go on to says its not about "hating "these" people but hating the "sin" ,, Nice of you to look down on "these" people and what exactly is this "sin" you talk of ? There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with someone who is gay .
you can date within a month..that's plenty of time.. dating means 2 people who really like each other going on dates, that's the stage where you get to know each other better.
Until all the narrow minded bible thumping screwballs get it through their thick heads that homosexuality is just as pure, natural, and beautiful as heterosexuality, these coming out stories are going to have to be necessary.

When I was in high school and in sports I lived in the closet. To come out then would been disastrous, if not deadly. I commend athletes for coming out and living freely today. I wonder what these two beautiful men are doing today? To the 80+ dislikes Get a life! There is no place for ignorance and hypocrisy in todays age.
haiden That's not what I meant. I didn't have a coming out story. I didn't sit people down or vent to some media source about how I decided to live my life and who I want to love. I didn't feel the need to do that. My family and friends found out I was gay when they saw me kissing my boyfriend lol or seeing our relationship on social media. I went on with my life as normal.
