Great video as always! I can remember when Joplin Petro was not as big as it is today and back during this video. There used to be a old Mom & Pop truck stop next to the Petro on the south side back in the 1980's and part of the 1990's. It's been a few years since I've even stopped at that Petro, well not since got bigger. There used to be another small truck stop on the east side of Hwy 43 across from the Petro and I'm wondering if that little truck stop is even there anymore. When I was driver/trainer for MNX, they had a terminal south of the Petro on the east side of the highway and last time I was up in that area (1999 or 2000) that terminal had become a driver training school. MNX had sold that property back in 1994 after Swift took over MNX.
It's good to hear you mention one of the greater country artists. Porter was one of the best in his time. My uncle says he played in his band in the early years of his career. I love what you do. I'm blind and can't drive. But, man I love those trucks and I kinda get to go where you go with you videos. Thanks and please keep doing what yhou do.
Yes there are 2 types of RUclips Truckers 1) is a piece of crap that complains, lies, and cries and the other is Palerider TV. Once he did a 2000 mile trip in 24 hrs through 3 white out blizzards and a sand storm.
