my dad helped out during black hawk down or the battle of mogadishu....he was in the 75th ranger regiment out of ft.benning georgia, he is retired though
@Tux3d0 It was probably damaged, but another Delta Sniper in the Black Hawk that dropped off MSG Gordan and SFC Shughart used the Minigun to assist them from the air after the crew member was wounded. All I know, is that no one really knows what happened there. The official report in that Shughart was hit first, but the Delta Sniper in the sir said that the weapon handed to Mike Durant (Pilot) Wasn't Shughart's distinctive M14. Also Mike Durant said that Gordon screamed: "Damn! I'm hit!"
@t3hQuickscopeTheory This may be a little late, but SFC Matt Rierson, wasn't killed in the battle. He was hit by a mortar shell a few days later while talking with a head surgeon at barracks. I'm 90% sure that's what happened. Though, I could be wrong.

You`re right, people often forget that somalians are the ones who are really suffering the war and they also fight for what they think they must fight. All the american rangers, somalian militia and somalian people are victims in this story

i love that movie because it gives yo an idea what soldiers have to live when there are wars it isnt as call of duty if you want to make a reference of a game o it of medal of honor
They're cheap. Some places have AK's for $50. Haven't seen any Skorpions unless you mean the shorter AK's which are AKSU. RPGs are cheaper than alternatives and easy to use also.
You know i wonder... It is just a movie but this actually happened and there actually was Miniguns in the Blackhawks... Why didn't they use them??? Forget about war crimes i would use them just to stay alive!!!
