Thank you Matrix Explained!! I've been a fan of your's for a long time. It feels fantastic that you've watched and enjoyed my video, when I have such a small channel! I release a brand new Matrix video every week so I'd love to invite you to subscribe to Jam Punch :-) What do you think of the non-movie Matrix stuff, e.g Animatrix and comics? I know you said you try to avoid that in your canon theories
@@JamPunchStorytelling I love everything related to the matrix, on my channel I have a playlist with all the comics. I also have theories about animatrix, but I'm focusing more on the trilogy because 4 will be out soon. I would like an animatrix series for hbo max
New Matrix explained video EVERY WEEK! I'm working hard to cover every topic from the Matrix franchise that I love so much, so please check out the rest of my channel to watch more and subscribe to never miss a video! :-)
One thing I have to mention regarding the Architect is that he never said to Neo that the previous 5 anomalies even had lovers. As a matter of fact the Architect says that while the other 5 reacted to the choice in a more general sense, Neo's attachment was far more specific. That's when Trinity comes up.
I've seen other Matrix breakdowns, but not many "get it" as in depth as you do. These videos are awesome. 👍 I wonder though, was Trinity in every version of the Matrix? Did they fall in love in each one, or was this planted by the Oracle this time to keep Neo from going right to the source? Was the Oracle's "dangerous game" making a dangerous virus (Smith) that threatened both the Matrix and the machine world, hoping that Neo would choose to use that to end the war? 🤷♀️
My understanding was that the previous iterations of The One were conditioned to feel more of a idealistic love for humanity than a specific romantic attachment to a single individual, and that the Oracle's game this time around was nudging Neo towards Trinity in the hope that it would get him to break the cycle. The Architect remarks on the difference this time around: "Your five predecessors were, by design, based on a similar predication: a contingent affirmation that was meant to create a profound attachment to the rest of your species, facilitating the function of the One. While the others experienced this in a general way, your experience is far more specific. Vis-à-vis: love." I kinda love that about the trilogy and don't think everybody gets it. When you break it down, the Matrix Trilogy is kind of about how love makes you do the crazy, and in the end that's a good thing 'cause it's how you grow.
Not so sure about the Oracle "forcing" Neo to choose Trinity - if anything, it negates the whole theme of choice in Neo choosing his human emotion over his moral reasoning and kinda undermines the main theme of the films. I think it's more likely that the machines have rolled the dice six times, knowing it's heavily stacked in their favour, and this sixth time it worked against them - they just don't understand humans/emotions properly (except of course the Oracle, who keeps trying).
From what I can figure matrix is close to 200 years of from the references, you know what Morpheus said to Neo... "Matrix want you to believe that the year is 1999, but it may be closer to year 2199, but we don't know"....
Dam I've watched a lot of your Matrix videos and Its hard to believe the low views! I've heard a few peoples breakdowns but yours are top notch! Great job all around hope your channel grows!
@@JamPunchStorytelling Only just now seeing this reply, sorry. But yeah, they screened the first footage of Matrix Resurrections to press last week at Cinemacon. Tons of trailer descriptions out there, but at this point there's no point looking those up cause we're getting the full trailer Thursday!!
Can you do a video breaking down agent smith, don’t know if you already have. Particularly about his behavior, he seemed to be quite an anomaly compared to the other agents even before Neo messed up his coding. (His speech with Morpheus)
yeah, I feel like a lot of people forget that Smith was already a bit weird even before Neo destroyed him in the first movie, even the other agents noticed there's something off about him
I remember hearing about this woman who had a company who studied counciousness & reality. She ended up saying that we're actually in a simulation & she was found dead in her car or somethings a few days later? Super vague explanation but i'm sure you've heard of it? Cool video man, opens up the mind more.
Thank you!! I hope so too but I'm making these video because I love making them :-) If you to help then please subscribe because I release a brand new Matrix Explained video every week
you cannot force people to make the decision, but you may offer another choice. the one who make the decision is still depend on the one. oracle might had arrange all this , but for things to happen, human need take the choice you offer. so oracle cannot be certain neo is taking the choice she offer, which is why this is a dangerous game. gamble is not how machine work, and oracle sure is getting more closer to human logic.
Really cool video! Keep up the great work!
