THE POND - A Cinematic Short Film

When my brother asked me to drag the canoe back into some remote mud ponds in search of monsters snook...I had to say yes. Due to water clarity sight fishing with the fly rod wasn't an option. On this trip, we used lightweight spinning gear to throw small soft plastics to these extra spooky fish! Needless to say...it paid off!

Jesse, I realize it’s a load of work, but please make a longer video - something with some fly fishing action that you know is a bit crazy and set into a nice peaceful glide of a video. Quick views of some family stuff, tying the fly, preparing the boat and equipment, some of the ride to destination, launch, motoring out, fly selection and knot tying, then sighting the quarry, the cast, the hook up, the landing, the photo op, the camaraderie and so on… Some nice music to emphasize the moments shared with your viewers setting the mood and tempo that whisks us away and along for the ride. I’m staying tuned. And why do my hands smell like fish?…
