Each of you did a superb job. That ol' boy was coming for you and he wanted revenge!! If their heart is beating they will come for you!! The camera girl did an award winning job of steadfastly filming a truly scary moment. Great job to each of you.
The video so far is just so wonderful the attention to not only be hunt but the time afterwards relaxation the pictures of the food the snacking the drinks all brings us to the reality what we could imagine we could be involved in if we were there. I have been an absolute fan of African Sun Productions, anyone that is a close second to them is absolutely wonderful. Looks like you're up for some great competition and I think you are capable, which is not so much of a competitive happenstance, but more available wonderful viewing for all of us that love the African stories. will you not see African son Production as a competitor, which I'm sure it is, but I would also love to think that you are brothers and sisters to them and produce the quality that is unmatched anywhere else, and I think you're doing an outstanding job so far🥰😊
For you guys going after DG with a double, your ammo needs to be on the hip under your trigger hand. Was this hunt in Limpopo or NW? I didn't catch where if they said it.
Thank you for the great video! Only if somebody can explain me the reason to carry hunting knife all the way in the back. I always carry my Puma knife on the strong side(right side bin my case) while hunting.
That’s one tough old bull. Even after the sportsman hit him twice and and then the P.H. hit him twice in the head. He was still trying to get up and needed three or more.😮😮😮
Glad the PH could manage the situation. Hunting guests never expect a real attack from the bull. This guy didn’t even know how to release a second shot. 😮😮😮
And more, he had his ammo on the wrong hip. Even if he'd been fine on the 2nd trigger, he was still fumbling around during reload, swapping the double between hands. At least the bull had been hammered hard enough the PH was able to squeeze the bang switch 2 or 3 times with his magazine rifle. Under a full head of steam, buff can cover 18 or 20 yards per second, about the same speed as a grizzly.
The male that was shot always knows bro. He knew where he was charging to. But the herd and the little ones didn’t know they were following the older pops
Wow, this is crazy. I don't like to criticise hunting videos but - the Ph carrying the sticks and the tracker carrying the rifle? And the african carry I get, I use it. but the idea is that you can control the muzzle better - not point it at the guy in front! Happy hunting.
Incredible, watching the hunter following the others with his loaded barrel pointed right at them. Here in the States, muzzle directed away from persons is always priority number one. I guess in different countries it’s just not an issue. Scary, indeed! Probably more dangerous than the buffaloes!
I noticed the double rifle resting on his foot. Dove hunting years ago saw a young man doing the same thing. A few mins later , heard a muffled shot. The young man fell and had shot his foot. Never found out how gun fired but he won't rest his barrel on that foot again.
I just did a hunt two months ago, but did not get a cape buffalo. Those start at $11k USD or more, depending on size. It really depends on your outfitter what they charge.
@@detrokaI have a question if that is okay. In the 11k price tag for a buffalo, does that include the trophy fee for the buffalo as well? And if so and if the hunter does not get a buffalo is the full 11k still paid? Either way I know there’s quite a lot involved on everyone’s part. I am researching now to do my first hunt in Africa in about a year to 18 months from now. And so I’m still trying to learn about what to expect. And where were you in Africa? Thank you in advance.
@@daqt6079 my understanding is you pay your daily rate upfront for the hunt and the trophy’s are handled after they’er in hand at the end of the hunt. No trophy you don’t pay.
got one chance to hunt buffalo so am going ,taki g my 45 70 500 grain solids 600 grain half jacketed solids 😊am going after the 5 with it to prove to my self i can
I don't believe I'd be all that comfortable walking in front of some hunters and it wouldn't be because of being closer to the buffalo. Dumb question . . . maybe. If you are going to hunt at dusk anyway and the river is close, why couldn't you just locate the herd and wait for them downwind of where they might pass by on their way to water. I know nothing about Cape Buffalo but Antelope are creatures of habit. They will water at the same spot at dusk until you shoot one on the way. Didn't the hunter shoot twice? Maybe too far away for the first shot of the charge. Not criticizing just wondering. Because I'd probably pee seeing the herd coming behind the bull, no matter what else. Well one criticism . . . Rear trigger first shotgun or double.
The lady behind the camera with a steady hand through that charge, needs an Oscar. Great hunt guys!
These invasive species are causing chaos in the environment!

Fantastic hunt and video guys. Shows you the necessity of an experienced PH. Brilliant charge stopping shot there George 💪🏻

All your videos should have a small segment on both the guide and clients rifle choices…I (we) would enjoy that. 😂
The impact of these invasive species on agriculture is staggering!
That bull had character.
Exelent camera work.
Huge thanks to PH for keeping hunter alive.
Fantastic camera work!🎉🎉
You can that young lady behind the camera has all the confidence in her ph. She has bigger stones than me. Great job young lady.
Jesteście bardzo odważni. Zachowaliście spokój. Brawo.
Great PH and hunt! Dream hunt.
Lekker work guys , your professionalism shines thru.
450-400 great cartridge, excellent choice

If I were to guess they carry it that way to prevent hanging up if they had to move quickly or quietly.
That my friends is a major league buffalo congrats

This is insane, the first shooting after almost 14 minutes!!!
The hunter is as much of a threat as the buff. Really how many times did he have that rifle pointed at the ph
The more of this I watch the more I'm convinced that this guy doesn't know what he is doing he is a dangerous liability
When the herd followed the bull must have been hair straightening.
Good hunt
The buffs didn’t know where you were after the shot so it’s not a charge
They were just running randomly away…but in your direction
🤣
The male that was shot always knows bro. He knew where he was charging to. But the herd and the little ones didn’t know they were following the older pops
I have never seen anything like this before what GREAT GREAT PH . This is real DEAL not HOLLOYWOOD

36:00 please watch in slow motion…you flinched terribly! This is something all hunters need to train themselves not to do.
Droom-jag van n leeftyd!
Nice Georgie...😮

Noticed the same thing.

Wnder how much that all cost?
