THESE KNIVES ARE DROPPING TODAY SO IF YOU SEE THIS EARLY YOU CAN PREORDER BEFORE THEY DROP TODAY shrsl.com/49mhj ALSO THE WE EXCITON HAS SOME MODELS BACK IN STOCK AS WELL shrsl.com/49mhn
To me it looks like it was designed by the guy who designed the Tesla concept pick up truck of a year or two ago. Too many sharp edges with no purpose. If this deployment was put on the large Pyrite or Elementum I'd order it today.
@wl9293 gtc knives would have to as I believe he has patent for this design so civivis model would most like look the same with budget materials just like the snex design on the visions
Bro…What can I say? I’ve praised ya with my entire vocabulary for years with repetition. You have a capacity to surf the “Now” without a script. Potential squared. Great Ad-Lib ability. Fantastic Clip…Creative choices are stellar. Very cool knife. Cheers
It sure looks cool and different. Except for the normal old We finishing. They really should departure more from their standard stonewashed ano handle and bead blasted blade combo. They are capable of such a nice satin, and they rarely if ever do stonewash on their blades? I don't mind the bead blast, but why all the time?
Not only is this a knife guys kind of knife it’s also a big guys knife. Im 6’5” and need that extra bit real estate. Thanks for the review Jerad. Hope everybody has a Knife day.?😀😀
I think the milling and machining is great but see the spring as something as a novelty than a need. With a thumbstuds the knifes gonna fire open anyways when it passes the detent. Just something new to charge more for and another spring to go wrong at some time in the future. Again the craftsmanship is great even though I really don't like the looks of it. Thanks as always jarrod
Damn bro you should have shown the mechanism from the front side of the blades perspective🥺😩 How does the spring depress when the tab is actuated? Does it go just literally into a pre-drilled hole that navigates through the ricasso? I have so many questions still!!! hahaha In all seriousness thanks for your thoughts on this dope new model and an apparent and total "flex" from WE Knives. Idk who lit a match under WE's a$$ but they definitely were determined to show everyone that they mean business with some of these outstanding releases in 2023. Everyone seems to always be quick to discredit WE among the elite tier OEM's like Reate and Rike, but let's not forget that WE produces dozens of new models each calendar year while Reate and Rike (while they are fantastic OEM's) maybe bring 4-5 new models from their own line annually. This makes me think that when WE decides to slow pace and focus on a couple of game changers, that they have full capabilities of producing at the level of these aforementioned OEM's. Anyways sorry for the rant lol keep up the excellent content brotha💪
I think WE is more price saving and simplistic interpretations of designs models. The only time Ive seen them swing for the fence is Elijah isham’s Eschaton. So in respect reate and rike do more detail work. I wonder what is the profit margins between the brands
@@WillEDC we knives are way to expensive for what you actually get. Especially in comparison to Reate who do a proper m390 heat treat. Rike are all soft heat treatments and too expensive for what you get also. Reate is the only one doing secondary hardening. And no one else in China is even trying to hit 62rc m390. They all aim for 60 and below and toughness. No wear resistance.
I absolutely love we knives and they are killing it this year! I just got the nexusia today actually and it's absolutely incredible. Having said that, I think this knife is ugly as hell, but to each their own. About the only thing that I like on it is The Flipper tab😂
It's a knife I can really appreciate the care and craftsmanship in, but I don't get any joy from looking at. Not that I haven't gotten a knife I've only seen in picture/vid and fell in mad love with, upon receiving, nevertheless 2d didn't do them full justice. Yes, I'm looking at y'all Kizer Vanguard (clutch lock) Sheepdog, Miguron/Am8 Flix 2 and kick starter CJRB Perfect Pyrite with purple fat carbon(to name a few). I would like to try that flipper style at some point though. Probably should have lead with I'm not a "collector" and out of my less than 20 collection, I've only 3 I won't carry at work. Well, 4 if you consider one that's just illegal to carry in my state, but hey, who doesn't _need_ a $90 envelope opener? A bunch of us, right? ... right? 🤪
I plan on getting one. I own the ZT but I didn't like the blade geometry so, at the time, i had Josh from @REKKnives regrind it for me. I appreciate you giving us a look inside this one.
Zt has a terrible heat treatment, but we isnt that good either. Def not worth what they are asking for soft 20cv. But hey the gimmick will make people blind to that.
Very well done review Mr. Neeve. Been watching your channel since it began and absolutely trust your opinion. However, I would have appreciated a more thorough disassembly.
My wallet just can't sustain the amount of cool knives being released this year, and now knowing how this one works makes it far more appealing. Does anyone know a way to put a knife in an IRA? That might make the purchase justifiable.
What's insane is I'm canadian and managed to get my hands on the full titanium blackwash version almost 2 weeks ago... before i even saw it posted online. Shout out to HOF they pulled some strings forsure. Fuc*er cost me knearly 600 bucks though...
It's a cool design but I kinda feel it has too much going on with the dual grind in the middle of the blade and the strange spine shape (4 lines, multple swedges?). I love to see innovation but it's too busy looking for my tastes. Do you think that flipper spring will hold up to years of use?
The thing I was trying to get at was how they advertise on the higo 2 the different angles of the edge and how it’s so obvious on this knife you showed here and I’m also wondering how it would effect the sharpening aspect of these types of blades same as usual sharpening or would you have to take a different approach to sharpen these different angles blade knives???
I'm not sure exactly how the spring works it, but regardless I'm sure they would send you a new one, however it's very unlikely as it's not a load bearing spring. But they have good warranty
This blade is making me think about the higo 2 and how they say the blade has different angles on it but this one really shows the angles at a higher rate I don’t know if I’m making sense in what I’m saying but I’d like to know your thoughts about this!!!???
In all honesty (FOR ME) this knife looks like the designer couldn't decide between several options and just said fuck it, then used all of them they could. Way too much money for way too much going on. Even from a collector standpoint I just can't see the appeal. Thanks for the video, keep 'em coming!
I would take that one without a second’s thought.. the total package is just perfect for me hahaha who am I kidding I only just managed to grab hold of a KIZER Varatas last week and that was luck more than anything ! Wishing you both a beautiful day/night stay safe and healthy J&K 🫵🏻😘👍🏼

I love the flipper but just don’t like the looks. Also not really into the dual grind. I don’t mind some dual grinds but this style I just don’t see any advantages and it is ugly to boot
I showed a picture of it in the video, when I looked at a video of the break down it looked a little different as far as the spring, worked the same way but maybe I was mistaken regardless I mentioned that in video
The knife designer/maker who has been selling their custom knives for between 3K-10K starting price, that also sell within mere seconds of being posted to their website or social media account, and whose fans/customers will literally do whatever it takes to get the slightest upper-hand advantage to be the lucky customer that gets to buy one of his knives, but most of whom will inevitably never have the funds or the opportunity to own a GTC in the first place. I absolutely love the idea of the mechanics bit I just wish the knife itself was appealing
I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we see it on other models... hopefully 🤞

It'd be cool to see We knives throw it on some civivi models as well. Like they did with the superlock on the vision fg.

That knife is so sick. Love the blade. Thanks Jared
Now, that is one beautiful knife.
Amazing knife, Tons of b-roll clips, awesome video brother! 💯🙌🏼
Saw on metal complex ... best knife of the year for me 😊
I’ve been a gtc fan for ever. You know zt had the slt like 3-5 years ago. It’s Purty cool!
Yeah I speak about that in video
Loving the new style of editing & camera shots
Thank you
Why didn't I think of that... so simple but so amazing!
I'm on the fence with this one, if it had a different steel, like Vanax, Maxamet, Magnacut or k390 I'd buy it now.
Fantastic design here. I'm really surprised at the price. I thought it would be over 500. Nicely done.
Saw this at blade show west and it translated so well in oerson and handling it. Was not a fan based off pictures but holding it made me want it.

Spectacular knife. Hats off to the very talented knife designers from all over the world 🌎 🔪 👏
Nice location for a video! Great job.

Yup exactly
You cant find a integral titanium knife made in the USA for $400, this WE is a crazy bargain.
from who?
@@NeevesKnives Not from the USA that's what I meant.
But ZT did that already years ago. Exactly the same way. Exactly the same mechanism. Even the knife looked very similar. Look up ZT 0055.
