Thanks for showcasing the reality of playing slots. Most people, like you said, only show their wins and never the many loses it takes to get there. Giving a false sense of success. You don’t do this and I appreciate it.
Thanks for actually showing us an example of what you and Dave preach on the channel, Marc. It helps a lot to "follow along" to get a better idea about what kind of experience y'all are talking about.
And this is why I follow the _GSGS_ channel. Thanks once again Marc, for showcasing in this video that *nothing is ever guaranteed* no matter what machine you play or what budget you bring. I don't trust any channel that only shows the wins. Really makes you wonder how many takes it took these people to show their audience "how it's done". 🙄
Thank you for sharing this honest experience. Last night I went with $180 to the local casino. I left $80 in the car to break it up into sessions like you recommend. I played for over an hour with the $100. I went back to the car and decided to only play with $40. I ended up playing for close to another 30 minutes and left with $10. Overall down $130 but played some new machines, had some exciting bonus rounds and had a really fun night. It felt good to practice your advice and I felt more in control and less impulsive. Thanks for your channel and everything that you guys do.
Respect what you are trying to illustrate, love the channel and have followed both of you guys for years….but this reinforces my belief that I need a couple grand to enjoy a few days in Vegas! 😂
You don't always come back a bust - there were many sessions I had on this trip where I more than doubled, but I wasn't filming those. LOL But still, limit yourself and have fun.
You definitely have more patience with machines than I do, Marc. I know they can hit at any time, but when I feel machines are in a trough, I move on sooner rather than later. It doesn't always work, but moving around sure helps to extend one's play.
@normanwright5335 Sure, you can stick with the same machine and win big... but at what cost? Your big win might turn out to be nothing more than a return of contributions.
Enjoy your guys channel especially how you keep it real and slice it like it is when you play at the casino not just posting wins but losses aswell because that's apart of gambling the good the bad & the ugly ✌️
Marc, Bringing down $100 is a great idea. I usually bring my whole budget with me and I’m sure you know that sometimes I lose control and spend most, if not all of it.
That's what I do on my channel. No editing out anything. I show the good and the bad because it really is the reality of playing slots. No one wins as often or as much as some of those other channels show. And really, they have money to begin with to make the kind of bets they make. My channel is for the regular Janes and Joes. I appreciate your channel and have learned a lot from you!
I enjoyed this video. This is very relatable to me. I tend to only bring around 100.00 to the casino as well. This was good insight on how to stretch your money out for a longer play session. Cheers.
This is why I appreciate your content because I am happy when I get my money back it's entertainment especially with a low budget thanks for being honest
I've been at NYNY for the last couple days and your advice to put your daily or session money into envelopes and TAKE BREAKS has been invaluable. Especially in a vacation environment like Vegas where there is no just getting in the car and going home. I've also just accepted that if i want to drink and haven't purchased anything at CVS beforehand, paying $10-15 for that drink is almost always going to be cheaper than playing slots and waiting around for the server.
Hi, I am always interested to hear a % of time folks are able to double the hundred. It helps to set expectations better than just saying it does not always work. I am at less than 30% doubling and less than 60% with a profit at all.
Even where I play at Wind Creek in Bethlehem PA, I noticed they still have a good number of "older" machines on the floor, but I'm kinda worried because I've been seeing more & more "NEW" slot machines being brought in.... 😳 From watching these videos, I've learned about the importance of the Lower Volatility!!!!
Depends on the game of Buffalo, the classic one I was playing has 27 lines I believe. Most of the time, you are just looking for 3 or more symbols to match on the first 3 reels for a win.
Good video. I have one question for you. If you are on a machine and let’s say you double your money. Do you leave or stick with it. Sometimes I get on a machine and it might run down 50 credits and then pay then run down 40 or 50 credits and pay again. Do you stick with it since you’re still even or a little ahead or do you keep playing on it.
Mark I watch all your videos can you please help me with this question. Has the casinos changed how much the machines pay out I go once a month and I am not winning at all. Also is there a way to protest to keep the older machines ie who can I contact to tell them to quit putting the garbage high volatility games. WinStar is the worse I literally only play class 2 when I go there now.
Highly unlikely they are changing payouts. Dave and I have been going to Vegas for decades, playing the same machines, some trips we win big other trips we can't seem to win at all. It's not the machines that are changing, it's just the luck of the button press. As for the old machines going away, probably not much you can do. You can try contacting the slot floor manager.
Hi Marc. I have a question. Yesterday I made the mistake of forgetting to check my credits on a 9 line game with jackpots only with max 9 credits. I was playing 1 credit by mistake. Of course 3 eagles landed on what would have been a pay line for a $2500 jackpot! I was so excited til I saw that I was only playing 1 credit. My question is does the machine have an algorithm for different credits? If I played 9 at that moment instead of 1 would I have won the jackpot? some people say they tease you like that to increase your bet? I ALWAYS play max credit on those games! not this ONE time! My mistake! Did I definitely miss a jackpot cuz of that mistake?
If you are referring to Eagle Bucks, then I would hate to break it to you, but that is what would have landed if you were betting all the lines. However, some of the newer games out, they purposely tease you by giving you offline hits to try to entice you to bet more lines. Long story short, really depends on the game.
@ either way, lesson learned! Always pay close attention to credits played! Pretty basic but in all the excitement and fun we forget the basics sometimes! Thx for your input and great videos!
One of the best ways is watching others play in a long form session (either in person or on youtube). Look for how long it takes to get the bonus (on average) and how much the bonus pays (on average).
Sad to say my wife and I are going to have to walk away for whatever reason we cannot hit on any slot machine don’t know what has changed, but doesn’t matter. The denomination doesn’t matter. The casino doesn’t matter the machine. We are talking to many others that have seen a significant tightening of casinos obviously someone’s winning, but I’ve had it.
i would not make it out there, lol, those bleeping sounds drove me nuts already 7 minutes into the video.. can't imagine actually being there for a large amount of time Does it get any easier once you get used to. that and you actually dont really hear it anymore ? :)
@GambleSmart ....at the beginning. There's an annoying beep at every floor. Maybe it's just me but I noticed it immediately. Would drive me crazy if I was staying there 😂🤣
I watch a few streamers and they all agree that they pay out more than they win. It’s about having fun and being comfortable with losing the money you are bringing. Everyone should learn how to bet on these machines before going.
I haven’t played this in a long time but when I am low on cash I bet the first three columns x 3 and I believe it was $.30 on a penny machine and buffalos will pay $80.00
By far the best thing to do is to not gamble at all. Also very important to not encourage other people to gamble. It’s a mugs game guys and gals, keep your money in your pocket 👍
That Spin frenzy machine is total sadnesses I sank 50 dollars last week and I only like 3 kickbacks and not even my bet back I usually walk away but I was just giving it a chance 😂 now I see why nobody plays it
Thank you Marc for being honest about the reality of gambling and explaining how the slot game that you’re playing works. I especially appreciated you showing where to press the spin button on the wheel of fortune slot machine. I am surprised there are still 25 cent , 3 credits max slot machines on the Vegas strip ??? Doesn’t Four Queens Casino in downtown and Sam’s Town on Boulder Hwy still have 25 cent , 2 & 3 max credits slot machine’s ?
Honestly, I don't see how some "video creators" think they can keep producing these slot videos and keep it fresh. I've have played slots for many years in different casinos. There's no magic formula. Its all luck. Just stay away from the really crappy machines. At least you are trying to be honest
This is a great video Marc. This just reinforces what you and Dave have been teaching us about being a careful educated gambler. Visited Vegas over the summer and kept to my budget every day and two out of the three days I walked away with a hand pay. I have tried hundreds times there nothing but false hope these types video. FYI tried Vegas, local, out my local state, reservations too. It will work RNG nice & you're lucky
Slots are for suckers. Can’t do much on BJ or Baccarat with $100 but I think it’s a good idea. Do you freeze your credit cards and pacifier in ice as well?
I play the original Buffalo from 2006. It allows me to change bets and play for hours. You don't even have to play all the lines to get a decent bonus, and it can retrigger with coins anywhere.
Thanks for showcasing the reality of playing slots. Most people, like you said, only show their wins and never the many loses it takes to get there. Giving a false sense of success. You don’t do this and I appreciate it.

Best and most honest of the $100 videos I have seen. Thank you so very much!

Thanks for sharing! We call that game "Wheel Of Torture!!" Lol 😂
Marc, Bringing down $100 is a great idea. I usually bring my whole budget with me and I’m sure you know that sometimes I lose control and spend most, if not all of it.
Yeah, bringing your entire bankroll with you is always a bad idea. Need to separate it out and make sure it takes you awhile to go up and get more.
That's what I do on my channel. No editing out anything. I show the good and the bad because it really is the reality of playing slots. We will check you out!
I think that showing any gambling content is a sin and stupidity. No normal person will spend hours in casino and filming gambling.
@@nemlig-x1z Then why are you watching this video?
I enjoyed this video. This is very relatable to me. I tend to only bring around 100.00 to the casino as well. This was good insight on how to stretch your money out for a longer play session. Cheers.

Another great video and thanks for showing that I am doing good things in casino and following your advice
This is sooo much needed information. Thank you for this. You managed yur money well. 😊

That's some smart work there - that's fantastic!
Great video. Very fun to watch.
Heading to Vegas Saturday Staying at the Bellagio.. Love your channel.. Looking to use your techniques.. Thanks for all the Info!
Love it keep them coming 😅
Another helpful video, thanks so much!
That's how it goes most of the time! Thank for showing :)
Thanks Marc for another great realistic video. Reality check!
Great video,Thanks Marc
I appreciate you showing the reality of slots. Great video!
Appreciate you showing the non-winning sessions. I was pulling for you, but the machines win that round.
Great content, really enjoyed watching! 🎰
Thanks Marc. Thanks for keeping it real.
Hi, I am always interested to hear a % of time folks are able to double the hundred. It helps to set expectations better than just saying it does not always work. I am at less than 30% doubling and less than 60% with a profit at all.
Some trips are better than others. I'd say about every 3-4 sessions on average, I end up ahead of where I started.
So cool finally meeting y'all in person. Hope to see y'all again soon!
You too man!
For bankrolling I like the .25 denom nine line jackpot double nudge at the Park MGM. Fun game with some nice hits.
I appreciate the honesty.
great video
Glad to see you play buffalo... many casinos are getting rid of the older 3 reel slots, but regular buffalo keeps sticking around in newer cabinets
I never understand the lines on. Buffalo. What is considered a good line or not one?
Depends on the game of Buffalo, the classic one I was playing has 27 lines I believe. Most of the time, you are just looking for 3 or more symbols to match on the first 3 reels for a win.
I picked that exact bank of machines at NYNY based on your advice when I was there a few months ago. Nice one!
Mahalo mark. Thats a nice $100 worth of play. I going do that this trip, again. Thanks to you guys.
Great! Have fun and good luck to you!
Have fun!💜
Always

Haha, no, I think he was at a Ultimate Texas Holdem Tournament

@@GambleSmart the game was Wild Freedom with eagle cougar and wolf Wild jackpot. Also has 5x to 2x multipliers. thx for your input and great videos!
Ahh, the game by Everi. I'll be honest, not too sure if they tease or not when you don't play max lines. It's entirely possible though.
@ either way, lesson learned! Always pay close attention to credits played! Pretty basic but in all the excitement and fun we forget the basics sometimes! Thx for your input and great videos!
How can you tell the volatility on the various wheel of fortune and quick hits? Thanks
One of the best ways is watching others play in a long form session (either in person or on youtube). Look for how long it takes to get the bonus (on average) and how much the bonus pays (on average).
Hit for $200 on that exact machine last week with first $20.
Which one?
That teasing on the wheel of fortune game would’ve drove me crazy !!!! 🤦♂️

What casino is this
NYNY in Las Vegas
Played the Evel Knievel slot yet? I had fun playing it on Fremont St. last week.
Oh! I didn’t know they still had it!
@GambleSmart Yeah! Was at El Cortez and Circa
i would not make it out there, lol, those bleeping sounds drove me nuts already 7 minutes into the video.. can't imagine actually being there for a large amount of time Does it get any easier once you get used to. that and you actually dont really hear it anymore ? :)
Not sure which beeping sounds you are hearing, but I guess I don't hear it anymore! 😅
can you do another 100$ session at winstar the next time yall are there?
Absolutely. We’ve done a few in the past with it too.
@ yes ive seen em all! but how bout for a different challenge, maybe try without playing the classic bingo style games? 🤔
We can :)
That elevator is very annoying lol
Haha how come?
@GambleSmart ....at the beginning. There's an annoying beep at every floor. Maybe it's just me but I noticed it immediately. Would drive me crazy if I was staying there 😂🤣
Sounds like a chicken coupe 😂🐔
How rare is the 10times 3x across on payline 1. Probably 0.0.01% of a chance
It's brutal, I don't know the exact probability, but it's actually possible to never hit within the life of the machine.
Wow that’s how I play I’ll be at the MGN Grand tomorrow couldn’t make it today then to Planet Hollywood for a slot that’s only there
Would you play that if it was $1 slot? I love $1 slots 5 lines machines!!
If I had the budget for it, absolutely
That hundred let you play for a while. Original Buffalo & Buffalo Deluxe are my favorites.
I watch a few streamers and they all agree that they pay out more than they win. It’s about having fun and being comfortable with losing the money you are bringing. Everyone should learn how to bet on these machines before going.
That music playing in the elevator sounds like the saw movie music.
I want to play a game
I haven’t played this in a long time but when I am low on cash I bet the first three columns x 3 and I believe it was $.30 on a penny machine and buffalos will pay $80.00
Ive done that with $100 if i want to just try new games and see what happens.

i have never won at the NYNY, i always play but it never works out for me.
Right place, right time - Their payback % returns are the same as everyone else on the strip. Just gotta be lucky :)
