Just a little piece of advice. If you are in Las Vegas and no matter what you are playing Slot machines or card games. Or any other games. If you are sitting there and a random person or persons comes up to you and says hello. You can say hello but if you got money in front of you or in the machines or laying next to you. Do not have a long conversation with a stranger. Because they will try to steal from you. And don't pick anything someone says you dropped on the floor especially money or chips. Because they will steal from you if you bend down to pick up anything.
Those progressive jackpot coins are definitely pre-determined and NOT random on each spin. It appears each coin drop is from a limited pre-generated supply and the more you get the harder it is to get on later spins.

Stay away from Buffalos. I once got all 5 coins on Buffalo and it returned only twice my bet. The guy sitting next to me saw that and bailed at once.
