Just a tip❗️ as I did this two days ago an used this as a reference. But when I did it there was no need to remove throttle body or thermostat housing. Unless you wanted to change thermostat at the same time. Once removing air intake and upper radiator hose side ONLY then releasing tension on the belt you can get ur hands in there an remove engine temp sensor. I did not need to remove both upper radiator hoses or throttle body. There was plenty of room. Just a tip great video. This is for those who only need to get straight to the sensor.

Thanks for the vid. It will definitely help me if my sensor fails on my 09 Genesis 4.6L. I just replaced the mechatronic solenoids in the ZF6HP26 transmission due to code P0746 this week. A lot of great vids on RUclips regarding the transmission but almost are for BMW.

I gotta change my coolant temp sensor on my Genesis this week. Great vid. Thanks for the help! Do you know if that sensor going bad would cause the coolant fan not to cycle on on off at the right times?

This car had a fan issue too. I found out that there is a control module on the driver side behind headlight. The Connections on the module had shorted out and cause the cooling fan not to work.
