I must share this. Couple of years ago I got the opportunity to speak with Lucky Ali on the phone and it was quite a surprise. A common friend was with him in Bengaluru and I happened to call this common friend just to catch up. In between our conversation he said "Aarif I want you to speak with someone who's with me" he handed the phone to Lucky Ali and I can't describe my joy. We spoke for 30 minutes and it was such a joy and honour. He even invited me over to his farm house. In Sha Allah I'll visit soon. Bless you Sir..keep rocking 👍

Loved this. Totally as I had imagined Lucky Ali to be: humble, intelligent and full of wisdom. The thing that gave me goosebumps was when he said 'Something beyond our control is about to happen to the whole world. That is where the hurt is, but it can be beautiful too.' (11.45-12.07 ) Seeing as this was a year ago, it's almost as if he was predicting the pandemic. I guess the beauty is how people have got closer again, how nature has had a chance to thrive with less pollution. Great interview. Lucky sir .. I have been a fan of you since I watched doordarshan as a kid. Anjani raho mein would air between 2 serials around 9 or 10 pm. Been a fan since then,, also I had cassettes of you,, best of lucky Ali....light brownish cover by sony bmg.... Its good to see people finally recognising your music... His health has improved and I’m very happy after seeing that because I almost cried when I saw videos of 2016-17 of him, he was looking very tired, couldn’t sing, loosing his breaths... very happy after seeing this. Love you Lucky Ali sir.
