I really can't say. I believe air leakage is caused by the degraded white o-rings inside the nailer. Failure to shoot properly is the trigger. Did you put a replacement trigger valve on it or replace the o-rings? The trigger seems to be a complicated system affected by pressure balances and friction. It definitely must have the correct lube as there is an o-rings inside it that can hang up with the slightest swelling or too thick a lube.
@@spudth Thanks. I replaced the entire trigger with a new one. But I didn't grease it. I ordered silicone o-ring lubricant and one video I found said never use silicone. What do you recommend.
Mike Tanner ...thank you .very informative .I would like to also know where you ordered the seal kit from .you said MA seals but no address . You reply is highly appreciated .
Maybe someone can help I replaced my o-ring same one was broke. But now when I connect the air The piston that fires the nail just fires over and over pretty fast. Took back part to make sure everything was together right. Can anyone help?
Same thing happened to me. Its your trigger. You can get a trigger rebuild kit on ebay or replace the trigger as a unit. Its a little tricky because the o-ring in the trigger that is the problem swells ever so slightly and causes this problem.. I think its either an issue with it reacting to lube added or in the air supply or just a bad o-ring. That is just my experience with mine. Thanks for watching!
4 minutes in. Not gonna keep watching: you're not showing much of anything useful because you don't or won't use a camera tripod to show the actual disassembly.; instead, you give a 'before and after' summary. Not helpful. I'll just have to move on to other vids and hope they do better.
That's too bad. I got everything I needed out of the video. This is what every video on RUclips used to be like before people made careers out of it. I'm grateful guys like him help the rest of us out.
Same nailer I have. After 17 years it finally went south, blowing air out the front nozzle. This video will help. Thanks!
I rebuilt my trigger. Then it sat a while and the trigger quit. Be sure to use a correct lube.
Thank you for taking the time to make the video...helped a bunch.

Great review! Thanks for posting.👍
Thank you you save my nail gun…
Chris, I've replaced the O-rings, and the trigger. I now have no air leakage, but the nailer still will not shoot. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks, Mitch

Where did u get the rebuild kit ?
ebay or amazon. can't seem to find it now but search by model number and rebuild kit you can find the best deal.
and mainly you need those white seals. a trigger rebuild may be necessary too. Be sure to use a lube that won't expand the seals. ATF is a NO -No.
Maybe someone can help
