- This entire mudroom system cost about $600 for 14 feet long! This would have costed thousands in custom cabinetry. I have been using this for several years and it is super functional and holding up well.

im so excited to use your shelf help for my mudroom soon. It looks fantastic and love the extra shelf for smaller items i have plans to have that and now I know it looks great
Thank you, I'd love to see what you come up with!
Excellent craft, as always! Shelfhelp sounds very economical. Congratulations on another job well done.
I've never had a garage before and now in the process of purchasing a house. This is definitely something I would be doing. I honestly can't wait to start doing home furniture builds. It's been way too long. You make everything look so easy. Love this channel 😃
I'm super excited for you to start filling your new home with handbuilt items!
ANA, can you guys do a update on your brothers log cabin? We've been waiting to see the final project. Love the cubby hole for kid's organization! Great idea.
Love this, anything that makes life, easier, more organized and simplified 🥰
This is very similar to our situation. We keep our coats and ALL of our shoes in our garage. There are 4 of us and we have a shoe tower between 2 locker sections each with 2 lockers. I have to say this looks much easier to build than our unit ended up, but we’ve also had ours for close to 10 years. It was essential as we technically did not have a mud room in the main house. I can’t imagine our home without it. You’re gonna LOVE yours❤️
Yes, I already do, life changer for sure! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Wow!! I wish my hubster and I had thought about this for our garage. This looks really great 👍🏾 and what a wonderful idea for the storing coats, jackets, boots, and sports gear. Thank you Ana for sharing! ❤️❤️👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you!
Ana, you’re welcome!
Once again, Ana, you come in with a simple and practical system for your situation. Very, well done. I love the end with the kids all around the new unit. Your family is so cool.
Thanks for sharing and teaching. Felix
Thank you so much!
Oh Anna, you're a super mum and always thinking about your family. Just love your ideas and your work. I must say I have followed your channel from the beginning & you're baby has grown so so much. Keep up the great work.❤

Great work both of you. Thanks for the tip about the pocket holes and I love all your videos.
Thanks for watching!
Hi Ana, your videos just keep getting better and better. Look forward to your videos every week.
Thank you so much!
Love it! Great job as usual!
Thank you Linda!
I built a mud bench from 2x4’s, 2x6’s and 1x2’s. Glad I saw this video. Now I now exactly what the top hutch is gonna look like. Mine will be a scaled down version though.
Sweet, we'd love to see it when you do!
Amazing Job!!!! Thank You Ana!!!! 🌹👍😎
Thank you too!
I’ll be living in Hawaii in about 6 months, obviously no use for one, but what a great project, turned out really nice. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you, enjoy Hawaii!
I'm thinkin' beach towels, flip flops, boogy boards, surf boards, and rain gear would fit in with this system too!
Very cool project & well laid out. 👍
Glad you like it!
Great job as usual!
I appreciate that, thanks for tuning in Jim!
Hi Ana always enjoy your projects have a day love from TEXAS

This is amazing
Thank you!
Great video thank you for creating it
Thanks for watching!
I love it!
It's been working great for us, thank you for the visit!
OMG your pocket hole maker is incredible compared to my little kreg jig one where I literally have to get my drill out!
It is very nice for production pocket holes!
Awesome.
Thanks!
I love shelf help!
Have you considered starting a similar program for standard drawers? That is the area I really struggle with.
I haven't at this point, but I am always trying to find ways to improve the service!
Any plans to add cabinet door and/or drawer functionality to the Shelf Help Configurator? The ability to add doors and/or drawers to a shelving system (for example, the lower portion of a living room entertainment center) would be excellent for DIY'ers looking for an extra custom touch to our projects. Thanks for all of the great tips and keep up the good work!
Great idea! Not at this time, but I am hoping to continually improve the service!
Looks like you had two and a half people working on the project from time to time .. 😉
We usually do! Thanks for watching!
can you please post the measurements of the first two shelves I would like mine close to that size for those exact baskets!
Nice job! Can I ask for a close up of the front edges of you frame? The plywood you used is thinner so did the front edges you used stick out on each side of the plywood?
We use 1x2's which will leave a slight overhand on each side of the plywood shelfhelpnow.com/blogs/templates/open-bottom-mudroom-bench
Here are some brag posts of other builds with some close ups www.ana-white.com/relatedbrags/63431
I'd be interested to know how the joints have held up using the pocket screw method. I'm thinking of using dados, glue and 18g brads instead. Have you seen any separation/movement in any of the joints a year later?
It's held up just fine and it takes a beating daily!
Hi Ana, I'm thinking about building the mudroom bench and hutch. Are your cubby widths 36" or a bit less. You recommend not exceeding 36".
Check this out, the spans should not exceed 36". shelfhelpnow.com/blogs/templates/open-bottom-mudroom-bench

"You don't need a lot of carpentry knowledge, you don't need a lot tools" pulls out professional grade carpentry tools lol 😅
what do you do with all the pocket holes on the shelves? do you just leave them open or do you plug and fill everything? are they on top or bottom of the shelves?
Planning ahead allows a lot of them to be hidden, they can be filled or just placed where they are not in plain site, like to the back or to the top, depending on the project. I hope that helps!
We are wondering what happened to the cabin house you guys were doing. That project was interesting.
We are still working on it the drywall stage just took forever. Hopefully will be doing videos on it starting this week.
Hi Ana. Love your work. What is that kreg jig pocket hole machine called? Do you have a link of where to get it? Thank you
That is the Kreg Foreman www.kregtool.com/shop/pocket-hole-joinery/pocket-hole-jigs/foreman-pocket-hole-machine/DB210.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwy5maBhDdARIsAMxrkw0tbbBjzy-r1W91JUdFbyio4DyLOj-9mnK55wM7Xy4jv3ZlDIjoeUwaAln_EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
we are looking for a shoe storage with bench to go in a hall close but with sliding doors to hide the shoes. Have not seen that yet? any recommendations?

Do you glue and screw your bracing or is it fine with just the pocket screws? Thanks
I would recommend glue for the strongest joint!
@@AnaWhiteDIY Great thanks
How many hours would you estimate this tool for the whole build start to finish?
Best guess is 12-15 hours start to finish. Finishing takes just as long as the construcion...
When is the next cabin house build episode coming out?
We are back in our simple house build this week!
how tall are your top cubbies?
The kids are getting so big. I love the building projects but definitely miss seeing the family.
Thank you for watching, everybody is so busy these days!
when I use the shelf carcass configurator it won't let me configure anything wider than 84 inches for a 5 bay locker system. It says "max 84 inches". Why is that?
Please email us at anawhitesite@gmail.com and let us know the measurements you are trying for, and we'll take a look!
Was the video of how to do the bench taken down? Can't find it.
Here is the video ruclips.net/video/fD4iv9N-Y6I/видео.html
Here is the post that explains how to attach the top shelfhelpnow.com/blogs/templates/open-bottom-mudroom-bench
You will screw through the bay supports, depends on the thickness of the top, but if you are using 3/4" material for the top you will use 1 1/4" screws. I would recommend pocket holes for 3/4" material with the pocket holes facing up on the back bay supports to attach the back side of the bench too. Please email anawhitesite@gmail.com for further questions. Thanks for the visit!
@@AnaWhiteDIY Thank you! How did you moor the dividers to the bench?
👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤
1/2” or 3/4” for the hutch?
3/4" for all of it, check out the templates here shelfhelpnow.com/blogs/templates/mudroom-hutch-matches-open-bottom-mudroom-bench
4 lol
