At $1200 I think they are trying to hit that premium Ultrabook market that Apple tries to occupy with the MacBook Pro 13. Not withstanding at $1300 your MacBook has an 8th gen i5 appose to an 11th gen. If the SSD and/or Ram is upgradable I think honestly it may be worth it.

@@iriditium197 *sigh* a shame
This is still prototype, so not sure.
@@MikhaelAhava true, but I would not count on it changing tbh.
OMFG PLEASE MAKE THE NEXT STEALTH LOOK LIKE THIS!!
Austin's been uploading a lot lately! Your content is 🔥
I think they decided too make a razor version of a MacBook I mean down too the screen aspect ratio
Does it support eGPU?
At $1200 I think they are trying to hit that premium Ultrabook market that Apple tries to occupy with the MacBook Pro 13. Not withstanding at $1300 your MacBook has an 8th gen i5 appose to an 11th gen. If the SSD and/or Ram is upgradable I think honestly it may be worth it.
where is a Razer with Ryzen and/or Ryzen APU ????
deep in pockets with intel money lol
Inexistent allocation, that’s why the XPS line will never run on AMD.
Clearly going after the MacBook Pro price wise except it's not a MacBook Pro.
I’m in the market for an Alienware m15 r3...anyone have an optimal SKU so that the high end internals dont go kaput under the thermals?
@youtubers if it’s not a final production model wtf are you talking about
Haha! “Yeah but I still want a check.”
They strictly made this to compete with the XPS. I'd buy one over an XPS 13.
Bruh if they had that display on their Blade Stealth and have 120hz it would sell like hotcakes
But there are no high refresh rate 13” panels being manufactured with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
This is... typical Razer
It sucks that there isn't a black option!
$1200 for an aluminum finish.... Tim Apple working for razer now.
It’s not aluminum finish, it’s aluminum unibody, and Apple doesn’t have a monopoly on those. Also good build quality costs money, big surprise. Go for some plasticky thicc laptop if you’re all about spec sheets.
Me thinks you missed the point. Your paying for looks not function. Thats literally opposite of the brand identity and why so serious ;)
@@joshconfer209 Well there is a market for ‘looks not function’. I mean the XPS line is also similarly priced. Also these laptops tend to carry the best screens in terms of color gamut and contrast, and also tend to have the speediest SSDs, so on. Along with build quality, that’s a lot of things not mentioned on a traditional specsheet where these guys spend money. It’s a different segment. If I’m serious, your comment was very droll.
Sir, you need to calm down (this is an internet meme reference). I don't disagree with any your statements. It was a joke (see LTT videos about tim apple/macbooks), not a definitve statement and it was movie reference (dark knight) not an attack.
@@joshconfer209 Ah kudos then to that one guy who understood you and liked your comment.
Just put NVIDIA GPU, AMD CPU and 144hz display on it - name it stealth 2021 and I am buying it
Who else already watched this on dave's channel?
Is the quality still as bad as when half failed at LMG?
No. That model released 3 years ago.
why is it still thick when it doesn't even have a graphics card
Why wouldn't it be thick, thick laptops are the best
Sorry, for this price I would configure a nice Thinkpad :)
This is a beautiful laptop. Props to the guy who came up with that Mercury silver finish
*i bought one of these they are so good for my work and gaming!*
okay after XE taking 2gb of RAM as shared video ram thislaptop has like 6GB of ram are u kidding me
Ok what they should of do is give us the i7 processor for the 1200 base tbh
And a AMG then it would of been perfect but since they said its just prototypes razer might upgrade and add a
Razer book 15 with icore 7 16gb for 1599
A Razer Blade 15 with those specs already exists, the 1660 Ti model is often found for less than that, @1200-1300. The only difference would be 16:10 display.
Love your videos
You could at least have made a proper Evangelion reference by writing (not) in full.
But hell if it isn't priced like one.
Oh? It's another XPS.
can you play valorant and R6 on it?
Thats too expensive for a laptop without a graphics card. Fick off, book.
Ahh yes a overpriced chunky thin and light that is heavy and doesn’t have good performance. Just what we all wanted.
Intresting. Razer is officially running out of ideas
So its now a surface?
The price needed to be $1000
That Razer Tax tho.
No, it’s the aluminium unibody tax. Go for something more plasticky if build quality isn’t important.
@@anarki_in5680 dude I own a Razer Blade dont give in to that bullshit razer has a premium for its products. I bet you dont even own a Razer laptop.
watch me plug it into an eGPU...anything can be a gaming machine (before it thermal throttles)
I got mine for 900 dollars, And i absoloutley love it!
Where did u buy it off of
Not all razor hardware is ment to be gaming gear
Ah yes, per key rgb on the productivity laptop and not the gaming variant...cause rgb makes you more, umm, productive
*Any type of gaming laptop WHATSOEVER* 0:27
Official reply : Whatever...
Alright so its for working and its not for gaming but u can game on it
On low - medium yes
