Her playing of the prelude was as near perfect as I have ever heard, and this piece, which is not as simple as it looks, shows what exquisite insight she has.
@@kalyansen309 Thank you for the kind words. One amazing thing about this piece is that it fits any mood I happen to be in when I hear it. Can you imagine pulling something like this out of the air and writing it down for everyone to enjoy?
Like any keyboard rookie, I learnt this marvellous piece early on. Since then, I could never find the interpretation I had in mind (let alone play it myself…). Until this one.
Merci infiniment 🙏
Thank you very very much for your posting this You Tub recording. Yery very worth hearing piano performance being harmonized in dynamic and sensible piano playing. With amazing endurance and concentration power you play every phase in the entire work with no monotonous, critical or dissatisfyied parts at all that I hear by other piano performance. Since Friedrich Gulda's piano performance in his entire "Das Wohltemperiete Klavier " recorded in 1972, I have got a same new fresh happiness hormones in my head by listening your piano playing. And all video shot with two different Cameras is also a perfect work.
How so simple, and yet so complex? How so simple, and yet so beautiful? How so simple and yet so deep that one always hears something new? How so simple and yet so eternal?
Excellent and mostly helpful demonstration... worthy completely of subscribing... thank you 😊... edited. . The Most Helpful video...especially for those of us who are trying to learn this! Very kind to share with us.
Even for a writer who has attempted richly-worded magical fantasies this girl is beyond the reach of words. All one can say is, 'This is Marta; miraculous, magical, amazing Marta', and be silent in profound admiration.
Sometimes, silence is best. The greatest joy a musician hears after a performance is those few moments of silence while the audience revels in the power of what was just heard.
Bach would have loved to have had his music realised on a Fazioli grand piano, superbly. But for that the world had to wait for the phenomenal Lady of Fazioli, the Grand Girl Miraculous Marta. Now she is here and we can rejoice.
Until hearing Marta Czech play, I'd never heard the crisp, pure sounds that come from the Fazioli piano. A truly wonderful instrument. Although I've lost most of my ability to hear high frequency sounds (a DNA gift handed down to me via my father, his mother and her mother) I was particularly impressed with the high registry of the Fazioli. Ms. Czech and Fazioli are a wonderful pairing of beauty! ✌
This piece was part of the Golden Disc sent on one if the Voyager flights into deep space. The disc had drawings of a man and woman, known math formulaes, etc. It was an introduction to any alien in the Universe. The piece was played by Glenn Gould!
IMO Glenn Gould, who was a Master in Bach's class, own this peace. If GG had a Fazoli to play instead of his broken down Steinway, this would be the perfect version forever. Many pianists play this piece way too fast and lose the being of why Bach wrote the way he did.
fantastic bach on fazioli!
Best version of this song I have heard. I know nothing about music, but have listened to every version of this song available. Nicely done 🩷
Song?

True 💖💖☺☺
Notice she was using her fingers, not the pedal to extend the tones - that is difficult to pull off. Fantastic control.
Never heard such a delicate version of the fugue!
Closest thing I will ever encounter that I might consider sacred music.
Most beautifully said. This is true piano playing for the soul.

Listen to some of Palestrina’s stuff. It’s the best
Thank you! Brilliant performance
This beautiful woman and the piano are one... thank you
Thank you again Marta for the hard work and sharing such beauty.
Sempre un piacere sentire le sue interpretazioni
She is my favorite modern pianist!
Such a beautiful legato with no pedal at all.

Wonderful performance, awesome sound! Thank you Marta.

Feels delicate and elevated. I love it! Thank you

I haven't heard the fugue. Wonderful, Marta. Thanks a million.
Bach wrote a piece using every key signature.
It is called 'The Well Tempered Clavicord'.
