@@newzealandhoris4208 That's all you THINK. If you really want to know or make a difference, delve into the details. People who were brought up as meat eaters have changed into vegetarians. Your body won't go into a shock and you won't die. But if you don't, many animals would die (may be not as cute as these minks to earn meat eaters' crocodile tears or hypocritic sympathies)
We are beyond the days of needing animal fur to stay warm. This is not for sustenance, it’s for fashion. We have alternatives, there is no excuse. Thank you for sharing behind the scenes, it makes it clear that even in ‘nice’ farms keeping an animal in a cage all its life to be breed, skinned and worn by rich pricks is vile.
I love how they add some happy cheerful music to make the fact that you're shoving an energetic, intelligent, and beautiful wild animal in a cage it's entire life seem like a good thing... As you said in the video from birth to death. All of that suffering just so someone can wear a luxurious fur coat. How many lives are snuffed out for a single coat you think?
Alot of other intelligent animals raised for meat live in much tighter conditions and for a very short amount of time compared to their max life span, these minks have it pretty good. Especially considering 3 to 4 years is the normal in the wild and it's a very harsh life in the wild if you watch anything that shows how they live. Plus the kill method in this factory is really compassionate when for most of history they would just skin the poor things alive and throw the wiggling meat mass to the side to suffer and die a painful slow death. They could always set up shop in a area where they don't have to give them the living conditions they have or good food or a quick death but they took the time to make the process as humane as they could. In alot of areas where weasels, mink and others of their family are in their natural habitats they are almost always considered vermin and are killed in very very horrible ways since they are pretty vicious in the wild and will destroy small livestock like chickens for a easy meal. So I don't really see the harm in raising vermin and treating it well and making a nice profit from it instead of driving it to extinction in most areas like places have done in the past. I'm sure if you could find a great use for roaches instead of killing them literally everywhere they are found maybe you would find roach farms instead lol. I mean they have an impressive amount of intelligence for a bug and some studies show individual roaches have personalities but I don't see that stopping people from spraying them or thinking twice before stomping them but I'm guessing it's because they don't have cute little eyes and a soft coat of fur . . .
You can make almost anything seem okay by adding happy music and censor the actual act of murder. It's scary how much can be manipulated through editing and presentation.
Nearly everything this channel posts is exploitative, abusive and violent content. Though it seems to be profitable for the companies which produces wool, it's totally heartbreaking to see that thousands of minks are kept in cage during their lifetime and killed.

This should be illegal in any civilised society.
comparing wool to this sure is baffling.. if sheep don't get sheared then they can grow too much wool & it can become dangerous for them. Try looking up sheep that escape from the herd or get lost & found at a later point & you can see the many issues they face They are fine having their wool sheared off, they don't die from it, they don't get injured, maybe a cut here & there, but nothing serious

That first part is right. There's honestly something so alien-esque about it, from the way the factory looks to even how stretched out the pelts appear in the end.
I am deeply disturbed and saddened by the conditions and risks associated with mink farming. This industry's practices are truly shameful, and I cannot help but express my disdain for the unnecessary suffering it causes. The confinement of these intelligent creatures in cramped, unnatural environments not only leads to immense stress and anxiety for the animals but also creates a breeding ground for diseases. The COVID-19 pandemic brought this issue to light, as mink farms became hotspots for virus transmission, and in some cases, even fostered the mutation of the virus. This posed a significant risk to public health and efforts to combat the pandemic. Mink farming's association with the spread of COVID-19 and other diseases should serve as a stark reminder of the need to reevaluate our relationship with animals and the industries that exploit them. With viable alternatives available, such as faux fur and other synthetic materials, it's high time we address the ethical, environmental, and public health concerns that mink farming raises. Shame on those who perpetuate this inhumane and dangerous industry. It's time for change. 😢
While mostly true, remember that these mink have been bred for this life and know nothing else, their stress is actually very low, as proven by their luxurious coats. Animals can't grow this expensive fur if they're stressed or underfed or abused along the way, the coat is the first thing to go on a stressed and unhappy animal. I would prefer wild mink to be in the wild, though. It's not any kind of a life for a mink.
It ain’t you can tell by the fur if it’s scraggly and ugly it’s being abused if it’s clean knit and the hairs follow the grain to a T then they are being cared for even better than in the wild

Wild mink have to dodge hawks, owls, eagles, otters, snapping turtles, snakes, dogs, cats, and cars. And they have to eat almost constantly, so are hunting all the time. They kill more than they need and cache the food, but often like only fresh meat, so they go kill more. They can be a problem for threatened and endangered ground nesting birds and other small animals, esp when they are an invasive specie. They can also get into tight chicken coops, they need only find a hole just large enough to squeeze through, such as a hole a rat chewed. They go after the easiest prey, the chickens, not the rats. They kill all the chickens and eat a little bit of 1. For trapping them it is recommended to always use fresh preserved baits. Wild indigenous mink generally eat small and medium birds, rodents from mice to muskrats and rabbits, frogs, small snakes, and fish. Mink have stink glands where some trappers prefer skinning skunks over mink. Those farms must smell great...

For animal activists, I leave this message to you : 1st point - replace animal skin with plant-derived materials such as cotton. The current model of large-scale agriculture that we have, harms the environment as much as the fur and leather industry, but it requires a lot more space, consumes more water and fuel. 2nd point - Simply replacing all the leather and fur factories in the world for one that uses any plant-derived products to produce garments and accessories would NOT solve the problem. First we would need more land to grow these plants (using the current business model)... This would further increase the consumption of water and agricultural inputs. It certainly wouldn't do the world's economy any good! High demand would drive up the prices of these inputs. Not to mention the domino effect this would have on nature. 3rd point - Whether it's bad or not, this reduces the illegal hunting of these animals in the wild, given that this material will be so readily available on the market, that its value will be more accessible. This discourages regularized and unregulated hunters from selling the skins. As for hunters who do it for sport, it is up to the country to have laws and inspections to conserve the species. 4th point - Unless extremely strict laws and inspections are created, industries will not stop selling animal derivatives on the market. And this is almost impossible given that this market is an important part of the economy of every country in the world and is part of human history. 5th point - Using plant residues from other industries to produce rope, rugs, decorations, etc., is already a reality! But the challenges of inserting these products in an effective economic and social way have not yet been 100% solved. From appropriate machinery for manufacturing automation, to studies, advertising and market interest. I have seen banana trees used to make ropes and rugs in Congo, Africa. We are not educated not to depend on animal-derived inputs. It has been part of human culture for millennia. This is not my opinion, these are facts, this is what happens in today's world. Where we waste a lot of plant-derived residues when these could become excellent products in all areas of the market, like biodegradable "plastic" made from mango, avocado or pineapple peel. And if you have an opinion against using animal-derived inputs, think about it. If you still stay against this industry, study and find a better solution than what we have now. Instead of getting mad in the comfort of your bed cursing at me for telling you what is the real world.
Better explanation, imposible. Lets think of a solution or at least, think how economy and industry works. How could affect the lives of thousand people already in poverty. Better than just criticising something while we're disguised in "goodingness".
Breeding and feeding an animal for a product takes more input so that argument you can throw out of the window. What do you think the meat and fish had to eat for a couple of years to get up to size so they can be fed to the minx for a couple of years to get them up to size.
@@dadikkedude And this claim is based of what study exactly? Because from what i know, the agricultural industry also consumes a lot of natural resources, mainly water and plottable land. It sounds insignificant but it's a mind-boggling amount of input when you consider that we're feeding at least 8 billion humans out of that, *daily.* Also, fish find their own food. They are living animals. We just catch them when the season's ready. I don't know what was your point here really.
Also, as you mentined leather let me inform you that the leather that is used is actually what's left rrom the meat industry. The meat is consumed and that's left (bones, skin ect) are not trashed! So it's kinda hypocritical to consider leather products as unethical, when you think eating meat is ethical! The point of ecology should be to reduce waste, not encourage if..

@@User-718_ Lol as you said; who the heck cares??😂😂
I mean they have an impressive amount of intelligence for a bug and some studies show individual roaches have personalities but I don't see that stopping people from spraying them or thinking twice before stomping them but I'm guessing it's because they don't have cute little eyes and a soft coat of fur . . .

Yes and being killed by fox or eagles, lol.
These animals were never meant to "run free". They would slowly starve to death.
Unicorn fart thinking.

There is also the use of Fur and Leather for utility jackets.
Fur jackets are often fairly durable and have excellent insulation.
On the other hand, I don't think much of the whole fast fashion.
I have leather boots that I've worn almost continuously for a good 10 years, the only thing that's broken on them is the sole (run down).
I have nothing against fur coats, unless they are for decoration only.
@@Kattamedia
Incorrect.
Fur has long been used for clothing (mink fur finds are known to date back to 500 BC).
The insulating properties of some fur types are on a par with the most modern materials.
On average, however, furs are far more expensive than comparable fabrics from other sources.
So there are high-quality winter jackets with inner lining made of mink or other very good insulating types of fur.
@@Kattamedia
The durability and environmental compatibility of fur is excellent.
The same also applies to leather.
There are very good shoe materials, but when it comes to durability and longevity (with good care) leather is fantastic.
And why do people only get upset if the animals/organisms that are dying look cute?
I am not in favor of displaying fur purely for fashion purposes.

I can say that these animals are adorable, but the human being has always been a consumer of any kind, just look at the farms, you find everything, but if in certain areas there are people who are not able to take care of the animals in a correct way everything becomes different, I know, it is sad all this, but when we eat meat or use the skins of some other animal we do not feel any shame because we are already used to consume them, I am not defending anything, there are people who treat the animals well so that they have a good development and growth, but that's just it, this is a farm and its main function is to raise and reproduce animals for some consumption, it also gives work to people who must bring food to their homes, do not see everything positively or negatively, everything has its purpose, I can say that it is painful to see these animals die to be used in the textile industry, but I could not have the ability to keep so many animals and less without support, the only thing I can make clear is that at least the animals almost do not suffer anything, I hope you do not hate me for being an objective person.

For animal activists, I leave this message to you :
1st point - replace animal skin with plant-derived materials such as cotton.
Such an exquisite comment 🤌🏽
It sounds insignificant but it's a mind-boggling amount of input when you consider that we're feeding at least 8 billion humans out of that, *daily.*
Also, fish find their own food.
So sad knowing that they was born to die for the skin…
Chiken also born to due for the food.
@@kamandanu6672 wkwkwkk... bener bro... tp yg jelas mereka itu mengembang biakkan merawat dan membunuhnya. Jd ga ambil dari alam lg. Coba kalo ada kulit kucing n anjing. Pasti gini juga.
@@kamandanu6672 Absolutely agree. Chicken are born for food, minks for fur - that is how it works. We are at the top of the food chain. Animals provide us meat and beautiful materials for our clothing. Nobody should feel "guilty" for buying a leather bag or a fur coat. Animals are used for good purposes, it is something that we definitely have right for.
For animals like these minks to be slaughtered for humans, they must have committed severe sins in their past life as human to be reincarnated like this! They deserve it!
@Markipli jancuk kamu berhasil membuatku ketawa wahai orang kroasia. Wkwkwkwkk...
Vegetarians, animal lovers, please before leaving comments like "poor animals", "it should be illegal" etc. take a look around and you will see that most things made from animals. Shoes, bags, medicine, musical instrument details, cosmetics tested on animals, some if them include animal products. Before yelling, please read some books and learn life
Heartbreaking. I could only watch the first three minutes. But thank you for focusing on a very important subject. I will now go and hug my ferret.
YES!!!!
Ferrets are better than Minks. Less destruction, more friendly/appreciative, easily tamed. Minks are a roided wild version of a ferret and arent safe to have as pets.
Gerçekten bu insanoğlu kadar doyumsuz bencil daha başka bir varlık varmı acaba , yazık o hayvanlara
This is a sad short life for this poor beautiful animal. ☹️
Says that to the meat you eat hypocrltes
@@laitdejabot9890 this is worse. the waste it mostly. When we farm cows or something, they have their life and everything is used.
I don't eat meat from animals in cage enclosures. So they can have a normal life. Those minks have it way worse, or some pigs/chickens
@@Sniperahead
Wild fur is a thing you know? And no it doesn’t make the animals endangered it’s highly regulated, only healthy and overpowered species are trapped and no the trap are not like bear trap in movies
@@Sniperahead
Everything is used on the mink too
@@Sniperahead
Many chickens pigs and cows live in a cage smaller than those minks so.. 🙄
😁
Люди жестокие)
The soundtrack is so cheerful as if hundreds of minks are joyfully frolicking on the green grass under the blue sky
Бизнес на крови! Жестоко.
Poor cute animals 😭😭🙍♀️🙍♂️🙍😿😭😭😭😭😭😢😟
