How does 8n mean that there are 8 pairs of chromosomes in a cell of a strawberry ( ref: 5:16) ? Shouldn't 8n mean that there are 8 chromosomes in an homologous entity and the total number of chromosomes be some multiple of 8 (just like in humans where we have 2 chromosomes in one homologous entity)? Kindly clear my confusion sir.
Spent a bit of time as a hobbyist studying pelagic invertebrates of which a lot of time was spent trying to understand gametogenesis, where was this video 10 years ago? Well done
Thanks for doing those flat Earth videos. They're how I discovered your channel. I really appreciate the work you're doing on this platform. Extremely informative and I am learning quite a bit.
Hi Professor Dave! I have some questions about the Standard Periodic Table of Elements that I would really appreciate getting your take on. First, since the Periodic Table is based on empirical Quantum data and gets its predictive power based on the location of Elements, wouldn't that mean there would be a "best" Periodic Table that provides the maximum amount of fundamental Quantum data? If so, do you think the Standard Periodic Table is it? Thanks for your time and videos! Hope to hear back! Blessings 🙏
@@jomono8146 So what if its wider than the Standard Periodic Table? Why would we not want the most accurate reflection and numbering of the building blocks of our Universe? We live at a time where nearly everyone has a Widescreen phone, Widescreen TV or Widescreen computer monitor. Perfect for the more accurate Wide Periodic Table of Elements. The Wide Periodic Table can also easily fit on bookmarks and with all the Elements in their correct positions based on the Elements Quantitative data, a complete and accurate numbering system can be applied which will ultimately make the Periodic Table more intuitive, easier to follow and use. Google the Genesis Periodic Table. The only Periodic Table with accurate and complete numbering and makes some predictions about the Periodic Table of Anti Elements.
yep it's a one man show over here! i use adobe after effects. though most of the images are not from scratch, i take lots of stock images and manipulate them and add to them.
very interesting. Do you have a video about human chromosome 2, how it resulted from the merger of two chromosomes present in other apes, and how it would have affected reproduction in the first hominin who had 46 chromosomes instead of 48 in other apes.
How did the number of chromosomes go from 48 to 46 chromosomes I know that chromosome 2 is longer, but how did this happen with two different sexes at the same time to reproduce
Following up with this video after watching your Kent debacle 😂; I wanted to learn more about polyploidy because it went completely over his head and I hadn’t remembered much of this from my high school classes 😂; thanks for the refresher! It got me wondering though; Which chromosome combinations = transgender? Since we can identify Down’s syndrome with 100% accuracy based on chromosomes, can’t we do the same for all things people are born with? people are born trans/gay,which specific chromosomes tell us who is gay and trans, and who isn’t?” If the argument is that it’s societal, then it is not chromosomal; I feel that it can’t be both ways without evidence or repeatable results on the chromosome side. Could you help me out and direct me to where I can find this evidence- I debate topics on both sides and if I had some studies it’d be a slam dunk next time I debate.
You have honestly saved me in my first year of university! Thankyou soooo muc

I think I'm lacking some chromosomes, because this is really difficult to understand
Just believe in yourself, and make up your mind to understand it.

I’m sorry this is off topic, big fan by the way!!! But can you do a video on your studio setup and some of your music
It's professor Dave again

If that periodic table exist it would be very big.

Thank you so much .This video helped me a lot in understanding this difficult part of the genetics .again thank you so so much😊
Hey prof Dave, do you do your own illustrations? If so, wich software do you use? Thanks for your answer and your vids ;)

Professor Dave, can you explain John 2:20 verse 20 for me? Let me rephrase that, I think you just did...
