- A disastrous Rally Finland for Elfyn Evans has taken another turn for the worse, as the Welshman went off the road only a few hundred meters into the penultimate stage and ended up in the trees.
Colin Clark caught up with Evans at the scene of the accident.

The worst Rally Finland Toyota has seen recently, probably _ever_.
Rally Finland has created such carnage, Elfyn, Ott, Taka and so many others.
It's a real brutal rally guys and gals, it's nuts.

I wonder why the car damage is this massive, considering the roads aren't anything compared to the Safari Rally for example. The roads look smooth, narrow perhaps, lots of trees to crash into, but other than that?? I don't understand this carnage and I'm officially out of taste with Rally Finland and should be struck off next year's calendar 😏🙈

@@ragnarvalk18 I just saw it, wtf is wrong? So sad for all the drivers... The only lucky guy was Thierry and Adrien and the winner is Seb. Insane 4 days of Rally Finland!
@@kathynduta A big part of WRC would be missing without Rally Finland.
@@kathynduta No striking it off the calendar imho, guess the ride height isn't as high as say in the Safari Rally, and those trees have won each and every hit, just goes to show how tough a tree really is.

Not luck at all, rally is also about not crashing, and he didn’t. Also Ogier won at least two titles thanks to pure luck, sometimes you also need it

Toyota's most serious championship title contenders are part time Drivers. Let that sink in.
Yeah, Toyota has a driver problem. I wonder how they will solve this in coming years. My opinion is that they should get rid of Taka and replace him with Solverg or Pajari. And they need to cross fingers that Kalle stays few more years as full time driver.
@@MietoK Taka has had some bad days, think he has so much more potential. And he won two stages at the end today.
But the part timers are really pushing hard. And even Jari is doing a part timer as well!

@@MietoK Toyota won't get rid off Taka any time soon, because he's Japanese, and can be very competitive as evolving. I would rather if they switch as a full time Driver Ogier or Kalle.

Evans, troppa pressione , non ha il carattere del campione, sbaglia troppo secondo me , vuole andare al limite non avendo la stoffa, basta vederlo come guida è troppo nervoso, il giapposoto uguale se non peggio, guidano in maniera nervosa, guardate come guida Ogier o kalle, sono puliti usano tutta la loro sensibilità con quei mostri a 4 ruote , comunque lo sbaglio ci sta , peccato per Evans poteva essere la sya occasione, spero di ricredermi .. forza evans e forza Toyota.
