i feel you man.i also went the same mindset of not wanting to continue gamdev when all i see around me are awesome games, like how can i ever compete? but i think its part of the gamedev journey, and it certainly will be a core teaching moment as u move forward. I know what happened and im sorry that it did happen, i hope u continue to make interesting stuff going forward coz u make awesome gb studio stuff man.
Oh man... that is what I felt when Eastward came out. Like.. how can I even compete with that. But then I reminded myself that I'm doing my own thing and we don't need to compare ourselves too much to what else is out there. And thank you for the support and motivation to keep going.
@@NaraMakesGamesas a fellow gamedev, i had the same reasoning with Eastward. Its one of my all time favorite indie game, but I can't help but feel underwhelmed by its standard.
How do you support yourself as a digital nomad? I'm interested in this lifestyle a lot. Also, take your time and heal, looking forward to your next work
I work as a web and graphic designer. I was able to stop for a few years because I was a professional reviewer. But that work ended in January. So back to the old grind again.
