    So, I bought one of these + the ear pieces that they also sell. I fell in love with this system instantly!!! The only thing that I am unsure about is the life of the product when it is charged. There is not an indicator other than when it gets to the point of needing charge. And I don't want to charge the transmitter and receiver unless they are fully discharged. Otherwise, it seems like the battery will learn that it is going to be used for only a short time before it's charged. The ear pieces have multiple sized ear plug sections, and they block the ambient sound very nicely on stage so that I only hear the in-ear speakers at lower volumes (just my opinion).

    I really like my stereo In-Ears. I pan different instruments to different locations in stereo space. It really helps me to hear what is going on better. The Music director told me that he would get me a wireless system if I wanted. I asked him if stereo was in the budget. He told me no. No thanks, I'll keep my wired stereo.
    I do have a custom chord that has my bass line out and my in-ear feed in a single wire which makes the tangle less.

    I've had one about a year. Love it. So much better than slant box feedback. I'm trying to get my band mates to at least purchase the reciever. We cam all share my transmitter. It's only vocals.

    As always a great and honest review here James. Pricewise this is an absolute game-changer. I use it now 90% of the time and my stereo cabled set only 5-10% at most. The size and quality really astounded me.

    Excellent Points And Pleased You Are Happy With Them - Yes, The Charging Is Still A Bit Confusing - On And Off Switch Totally Rocks - Question: How Many And What Size In Ear Pieces ??
    Cheers

    James, do the earplugs provide any noise reduction to protect your ears on loud gigs?

    • @ebassguitar
      @ebassguitar  2 месяца назад

      Yes,
      Good in ear monitors tend to give about 26db of noise reduction I believe. The it comes down to how loud one runs the headphones…

    I hope it's better than the Xvive U2. I don't use mine anymore. It's not reliable enough.

    This gets a lot of hate because its only mono. I've only ever used mono in ears. As long as you know how to mix your ears, mono is perfectly fine. I don't have any plans to go stereo in ears. I like the idea of using this when I don't want to bring my entire in ear rig.

      @@ebassguitar I used it on a fly gig a week ago. Not sure if it was the unit, but my Bass guitar had a less than accurate sound. Very thin and glassy.
      Further investigation is needed…
      I had just borrowed it.
